and Dawn's highly anticipated 2015 release: Ryker!

Hers:
I am weak.
I am lonely.
I am a slut.
I am strong.
I am Dominant.
I am independent.
I am Seven James.

My entire life, no one has wanted me, and that was fine, because I sure as shit didn't need anyone else. Blah, Blah Blah, insert sad story here about negligent parents, and shitty siblings, and you have my life story in a nut shell. When my college boyfriend dumped me, it was just icing on the cake. Five years, and a booming career later I am here to collect my revenge.

That was until a delicious plaything walked into the kink club I frequent, and rocked my typically un-rockable world. Causing me to break the one rule I have lived by since Daniel Alexander walked out of my life, never have sex with the same person twice. Ever.

Warning!!!! Hers contains sexually explicit situations that may be uncomfortable for some. These include FF, FMF, and MFM interactions.

Finding Willow:
Where do you turn when all the bridges you have built in life have gone up in flames?
When the ones you love don’t protect you from the monsters lurking in the dark?

I never thought at twenty-eight-years-old I would have nothing to show for my life.
A child given away for strangers to raise.
A childhood ruined.
A life full of dead ends, drug abuse, and one night stands.

I'm at a crossroads, and I have a choice to make. I choose salvation.
I choose life. I choose myself, for the first time ever.

I will find her. I will find the life I was forced to give up.
I just pray that he stays out of my way.

I am Starburst Bloom and this is my story.

Kink the Halls:
Best selling author Dawn Robertson treats us to a short Christmas novella featuring your favorite characters from the Hers series.

'Tis the Season for an dysfunctional Christmas tale!

Seven and Levi are celebrating their first holiday together.
Star is pretending to be domesticated.
And new love is blooming.

Seriously, what more do you expect from the Seven James-Parker/Star Bloom crew?

One thing is for sure, this is a Christmas no one will be forgetting anytime soon!

This Girl Stripped:
My innocence was shattered one steamy October night, when I sold my soul to the devil to pay for a week in a dirty motel room.
Thinking I could rid myself of him, I fled the safety of the nomad lifestyle I had embraced my entire life for the security of a small upstate New York town, alongside my big sister Star.

What I never anticipated was a green eyed stranger that would steal my heart and never look back. And a dark eyed man on a motorcycle, who would teach me how to trust again. Both of them completely shattering every wall I ever put up to keep men out of my vulnerable world.

I am Paisley Bloom, and this is my devastating story.

Seven's Diary:
Once upon a time, I had a life before Levi.
It's a time that is sometimes hard for me to remember.
But with our lives on the brink of disaster caused only by my own actions, and solely my past... It is time for me to give the world a look at my deepest and sometimes darkest thoughts.

Three times best selling author Dawn Robertson was born and raised in Connecticut before relocating to Florida in 2013. The same year first novel, Hers debuted as an Amazon Best Seller. Replicating that success with two additional novels in the following years.

The Indie publishing world has grown to love her raw writing style depicting strong
women in real life situations, topping the charts in erotica, romance, and romance-suspense. Robertson has even insinuated that the female characters in her book mirror her real life. But, that I'll leave to speculation.

When Dawn Robertson is not writing she is a full-time Real Estate professional in Florida, and mother of three amazing children.

Where to begin...
Dawn Robertson's Hers series is more than just a book. It's a literary experience that has something that everyone can relate to- whether its romance, passion, or just life itself. I promise you while reading you'll develop a fondness for the characters and it's IMPOSSIBLE not to become invested in their lives. I've read the series over the past year and frequently think of the characters and am reminded of certain scenes and events from time to time.

Each book focuses on a different character yet they all are intertwined. There's a little bit of everything sexy and erotic in the series... some hot bikers, some female flirtation, don't forget a gorgeous submissive male, plain ol' romance, and many thrills and dramatic twists. One thing that I love about this series (and the author's writing) is the characters go through REAL issues, not candy cotton trivial issues- but real life situations. There are some intense and troubling subjects in the series but the author presents them with tact and dignity.

Hers is the first book that centers on Seven, sassy Domme with a soft side for her loved ones. She has a ton of attitude and isn't afraid to show it. Successful, passionate, and outgoing it doesn't take long for a wonderful gentleman to snatch her up but will her feisty demeanor get in the way? Seven and I have a love/hate relationship as my feelings for her character changed many times over the course of the series (I'm still undecided). But I can say she is a unique one! I've never read about another character as complicated as her.

Finding Willow is the second installment which I absolutely adore and had a serious book hangover from. Star is heartbroken after losing some closeness to her love and best friend so she becomes determined to find her long lost daughter she had to give up for adoption. You'll be aching for a happily ever after for her as I was but you'll have to read it to find out if she does indeed find her daughter.

This Girl Stripped is the third in the series which follows Star's younger sister Paisley after a brutal attack. Paisley is vulnerable, yet strong enough to put herself back together but can she resist a true bad boy?

His is the final installment which tells the fate of Seven and Levi but before you read the end make sure you read the novellas- Kink the Halls and Seven's Diary to get a behind the scenes look into the character's lives between the other books.

Don't wait to meet Seven, Levi, Star (my favorite), Diesel, Chrome, River (my second favorite), and Paisley. I cannot recommend this series enough!

I fell in love with Seven James almost immediately... a foul-mouthed, badass, tattooed business woman with a penchant for domination. She was a breath a fresh air after a drought of mediocre books. Sadly, as quickly as I fell for Seven, the writing fell apart.
Hers, the first book in this set, was decent. The books that followed suit, featuring related characters, had nearly identical story lines. The last book in the set was the follow-up to Hers and it was a complete mess -- relatively random characters would jump in as narrators, which felt like nothing more than a sad sales pitch for future books, and a kidnapping/extortion plot twist involved so many characters it became difficult to follow.

An ok read

I liked this box set overall, but felt at times it was a bit all over the place towards the end jumping between so many characters

While I reviewed each book individually as I read them, since I purchased this box set, I wanted to critique the set as a whole now that it is complete.
I'm really surprised that the author credits an editor to this series, because this is a very poorly edited book. Misnomers aside, any editor worth their snuff would at the very least call to attention glaring plot holes to the author. Additionally, while the author should be applauded for taking on such serious issues of rape and child molestation, I have to say I was a bit pit off with the flippant regard for abortion (especially in the case of the primary main character, Seven James). The murdering of enemies is similarly treated in flippant fashion with people dying off and everyone tra-la-laing back to their lives as if nothing happened with no further discussions of guilt or regret.

When I finally reached the end of the book, I was able to piece together what the author had intended > in regards to subtext and characterization, but the novels characters lack dimension on their own.

Overall this was an okay series - but characters who all talk exactly the same, act the same and essentially have nearly identical lives doesn't make for the most entertaining of reads.

I abso-f'ing-lutely LOVED Seven James! Because I think there is a hidden part of me that wants to be her! She has become one of my favorite book female leads of all time!!

She was bad ass, then realized a good thing when she had it which kind of mellowed her out, but then her bad ass bitch side came back out when it had to deal with some demons. And though those demons broke her down she didn't let that completely derail her and she came back stronger than ever realizing she could be the soft woman when she needed to be but still be the bad ass bitch when she needed to be too!

Loved all of her family too! Levi, Star, Chrome, Paisley, River were all amazing supporting characters. Can not wait to read Ryker and Lyric's story and hopefully a story about River someday too!

This was a truly great series. Some of the books I adored, others I started just to continue with the story but came to love. All in all Dawn did a great job of developing the characters and writing the stories. Seven James kicks ass! Hers and Seven's Diary were my favorites...both 4.5 stars. Followed by Kink the Halls, which I rated a solid 4 stars. Everybody gets some in that book!

I can't say I really like the direction Dawn took Seven in the 2nd half of the series, but it is understandable...everyone has their weaknesses.

If more books are written with this cast of characters, I will definitely be reading them!

Repeat

Good story line, great erotic scenes.
However, I felt like I was reading the same book 5 times. I understand each book was in a different persons point of view each time but I feel like some pages were copy/pasted into the next book. I'm glad I got this through my Prime account and didn't have to pay for it.

Wow

I really wasn't sure I was going to be able to continue this series after the 2nd encounter with Seven and Levi....I stuck with it and about halfway I couldn't put it down and as much I could over 2 1\2 days I finished the whole series, I just couldn't put it down if I didn't have to.

GREAT READ!!! If you haven't had the pleasure of reading this series go one click right now! These books made me laugh, cry and every emotion in between. This series is definitely a one click but it isn't for the faint of heart. You've been warned! Let me say these books are well worth it!

These books go downhill from start to finish. The first book is exciting and fresh, the second book has strength, the third is kinda kinky, and don't bother with the rest.
