Once a rising ballerina, Zoe’s life fell apart in the span of a year. Now she’s a single mom to a three-month-old, scraping by on gig work and motel rooms—doing whatever it takes to keep their heads above water. But when one late-night delivery ends in blood and terror, she finds herself chased through the dark city streets with her infant clutched to her chest.

Losing ground and desperate, Zoe stumbles into the path of a man who looks as dangerous as the men hunting her—but instead of turning away, he steps between her and the threat.

She thinks she’ll never see him again.

Until a random order she delivers takes her straight to his motorcycle club’s doorstep.

He’s wild, mysterious, and makes her feel things she hasn’t let herself feel in a long time. But Zoe’s not sure she’s ready to trust someone again—especially not someone like him. And she’s not convinced he wants anything real.

But with danger closing in, she may not have the luxury of walking away…

I always feel a rush of excitement when I begin reading one of JG's books. This one is no exception either..... Honestly, I can’t believe that we’re already on book 10 in this series it feels like yesterday when I just started reading the first installment to this new chapter of the henchman…

I've been super curious about Coast's history for as long as I can remember. Honestly, I'm not quite sure how describe the man properly, He's one of those relaxed, chill guys, you know, the typical Playboy biker type. He doesn't plan on settling down anytime soon... yet no one really knows his backstory or why he has this odd strange connection with babies.... It's almost like he's a baby whisperer.

This is a tale about a heart-wrenching young single mother named Zoe and her adorable 3-month-old daughter. She would do nearly anything to earn enough money to support Lainey, her little girl. Zoe walks dogs and handles both grocery and restaurant deliveries. Yep, and we even have a deadbeat dad who, thankfully, is out of the picture because after meeting him, I think even I wanted to hurt him.

Zoe was attempting to make her last delivery for the night when she unexpectedly found herself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Before she realized it, she was running for her life with Lainey. Luckily, Coast was in the right spot to keep her safe for a little while... Because, you know, all the females in JG's books just can't seem to stay out of trouble for very long….. And I genuinely mean this with love, as this author has a knack for keeping you on your toes.

Those who have read jg's past novels are aware that a delightful epilogue is a staple. She offers an epilogue that reflects on 10 to 20 years later... Jg consistently ensures you’re not left in suspense at the end of her stories, but this particular one was more thorough, leaving you with a sweet aftertaste.

Honestly? It read like a first draft where everyone forgot to bring personality except the epilogue.

This is the tenth book in a series, and if someone said the series would end today, I would really cry.
To answer the question: no, a good series is never too long.
I love all these tough-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside men.
Everyone from this brother earned a story.

I kept wondering what Coast's story could be.
I never expected it to be so heartbreaking, and I don't know where the author came up with the ideas for this book, but it's incredible, and I love it.

Coast is a party-loving biker.
Relationships are foreign to him.
More than one night with a woman is a crime according to his standards.
He is restless and chaotic.
He has to keep moving.
He can't stand still, or his thoughts about the past will catch up with him.

Zoe is a young, single mother.
She's getting by.
But only barely.
Her daughter is all she has, and she will do anything for her, literally whatever it takes.
Also delivering food to the most dangerous places in Golden Glades, like the biker club, for example.

I love this book.
I love the characters and how perfectly they fit together.
It's like they've been waiting for each other their whole lives.

A must-read for all romance fans.
I love everything about this story.

Book Name/Series: Coast (Golden Glades Henchmen #10)
Author: Jessica Gadziala
Standalone?: Can be read as a standalone, but includes characters from other books.

4 Stars

My Opinion: I really liked this book. Both the main characters and the secondary characters were great, it had an interesting storyline with a little action and suspense, and I absolutely loved the heroine’s daughter Lainey and how much she was included. I feel like sometimes children are relegated to the background of a book, but that wasn’t the case here. There was also such an amazing epilogue, and I just wished it had been longer, and we had gotten to see more of them with their “adopted” children.

There were a few of issues in my opinion but it was nothing major. A couple of the issues had to do with the hero and heroine (see below) and the last was that I feel like the conflict regarding what the heroine sees at the beginning of the book could have been better. It sort of felt like it was thrown in because the book needed a suspense element, and it didn’t really feel fully fleshed out.

Hero: 4/5. Coast had had a difficult upbringing with neglectful parents who ran schemes to get by some of which he got dragged into. At first, he came across as a guy who really only cared about partying and sleeping around. He didn’t do relationships, he was a little chaotic, and he was quite closed off about himself which made sense when we learn about his past: There was much more to him though and he was a great hero, even if I did get a little frustrated with him at one point for standing in his own way with the heroine. He was so sweet with her and her daughter though, and how he took care of them when they were sick was just swoon worthy. He was also immediately protective of them.
Heroine: 4/5. Zoe was a single mother to a baby living out of a motel and working multiple jobs to try to get by. She got no help whatsoever from the baby’s father so she was all on her own, but she was doing the best she could. It was clear that she loved her daughter and was willing to do absolutely anything for her. She could be a little bit shy, but she also had a quiet strength that I really liked. I did think she made some questionable decision sometimes though:

POV: 1st person POV (Coast and Zoe).

Push/Pull:

Sadness: 1/5.

Explicit Sex and Spice Level: Yes. 2/5.

OW (Other Woman)/OM (Other Man) Drama: No.

Separation:

Cheating: No.

Closure/Ending: HEA.

Possible Triggers:

It's not often Jessie does the single parent troupe or surprise baby or anything regarding children until the epilogues. But when she does? Man, she kills it. It's like your favourite seasonal treat you've been waiting all year round for.

Perhaps it's more meaningful to me right now, having just had my baby girl, but honestly.. Jessie got it perfect.

Zoe is a hard-working single mom just trying to make ends meet for her baby girl, Lainey. Her circumstances are out of her control and less than ideal, but Zoe not for one second begrudged her daughter. She spends every moment with her baby, making sure she's safe but trying to provide in all the ways she can. Zoe's sweet, gentle, and has the patience of a saint. She's resilient, non judgmental, and just gets on with her day despite life never giving her a break.

There is NOTHING like a tattooed baddy that's sweet with a baby to get your ovaries twinkling. Coast is a little rough around the edges with a past that was very unexpected. He's cool, calm, and collected and took everything in his stride. This man cared for a baby, gave a momma a much needed break, and didn't even think twice about it. He is a saint. That is all. oh and sexy as hell.

These two are just so sweet. Both Zoe and Coast had histories that impacted their lives, but they weren't victim to those traumas. They grew through them together. That slow burn was delectable and combined with the genuine heartfelt moments that felt so sweet between Zoe, Coast, and little Lainey. Man, I was SWOONING and sighing in utter satisfaction. They just made me happy.

The side characters are always the gift that keeps giving. the chemistry between them all.. that family dynamic is just everything. A biker compound may not be a conventional place to raise a baby, but that baby got herself a family of fierce protectors and endless love, and zoe got that too plus some much needed support.

I laughed, swooned, sighed, got angry, and ranted a little. I respected that tired momma who was doing her best, and I loved that Coast was man enough to step up before he even realised he did. 6 journey was sweet and full of growth, and the ending was the cherry on top of this sweet pie.

There is never a moment of disappointment from this author.

I've always said that this author writes the best epilogues, but I loved the epilogue of Coast more than the book (and I really liked the book)

Zoe was such great character in that she showed what many single moms have to go through just to survive. Coast showed he had such a good heart underneath, and his backstory was touching and how it tied to the epilogue was what made me love the story even more.

Such a great story for Coast

I absolutely loved Coast's story. Especially how it ended with the three (no spoilers). But such a great story with just enough heat, drama, cuteness, and swoon worthy actions to make a woman's reproductive organs itching to make babies.

I devour Jessica Gadziala's books every time. Coast is a fun-loving, life-of-the-party guy who meets Zoe and her baby, Lainey, after she witnesses something she shouldn’t have. From the start, his protectiveness is pure instinct, and watching him step up for them was both sweet and seriously hot. Fun, heartfelt, and full of sparks—I loved every page.

Coast (Golden Glades Henchmen MC #10) by Jessica Gadziala

I really loved this instalment in the series! Coast delivered everything I’ve come to expect from Jessica Gadziala—strong chemistry, great pacing, and compelling characters. Zoe and Coast were amazing together, and their dynamic was both sweet and steamy. As always, the secondary characters were a standout—adding depth, humour, and that classic MC family feel to the story.

A solid addition to the Golden Glades Henchmen series. Can’t wait for what’s next!

Coast & Zoe

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS STORY!!!

Coast & Zoe are one of my favorite couples! I adore Lainey, and the way she wraps coast around her little finger almost immediately. Zoe is an awesome mom, and Coast becomes an awesome father figure for Lainey, again, almost from the beginning. Zoe is amazing & I love her strength & drive.

The pacing, the friendships, the suspense, the FUN in this story... and Coast is swoony, sweet, BA goodness. Protective. My favorite, favorite thing is his background, and how that makes him perfect for Zoe & Lainey, AND ... my other favorite thing happens at the end & I don't want to spoil it, but I highly recommend this book!

SATISFYING STORY!

I loved Zoe and Coast and, of course, little Lainey.Running for her life Zoe got help from a stranger, Coast. The dangerous men chasing her were fooled by them when Coast pretended to be loving on Zoe against a brick wall in the alley. It worked and Coast took Zoe back to his clubhouse to keep her safe for the night. That was just the start for them including the infant, Lainey. Of course there is trouble for Zoe again but Coast is there for her.

Very enjoyable!

Coast

I always love going back to Navesink Bank (and adjacent worlds). There are lots of parts I like to this author's format. The stories are a reasonable length - characters recognize things about themselves and make changes aligned with having healthy relationships. One book after another creates a community where being grown ass functional adults is the norm. It's standard for big tough guys to support each other in being protectors and guardians. There's a wide variety of personalities, and events in the stories are often very real, and dark, and heartbreaking, but there's a way that the characters pull together that makes healing happen.

I appreciated the look at social media influencing and how easily it can be used to take advantage of women. Also, how pitifully the foster system fails our country’s youth.

“Things could get sticky when he turned eighteen and needed to do all the things adults did. Get a job, drive, file taxes. He didn’t have his birth certificate or social security cards. He was a shadow kid. He existed, but not to the outside world.”

Sometimes it's hard to see all the ways that a system fails and how that ripples out over time to keep causing problems for kids into adulthood.

Good, strong communities are critical to people having safe, loving lives. One, or two, strong people can't do much against a world of such violence and malevolence. In the romance genre, the safety provided by these communities is as good a fantasy as the romance relationship itself.

Read the whole lot

I loved this one, but I've loved all of them the OG Navesink Bank Henchmen MC, read them all, new generation mixed with golden glades, and connect with this huge family, sexy & dirty, badass girls, cheeky boys, gorgeous babies, sadness, tears, sniffs, bursts of laughing out loud-in surprise, imagining those sexy men, hugging me, being mine, just loved them ALL!

This is the kind of book that hits you right in the feels, especially if you're a mom. Zoe is a strong, resilient single mom doing her best for her daughter, Lainey, and she stole my heart. Then there’s Coast—a tattooed bad boy with a soft spot for babies. Watching him step up without hesitation for Zoe and Lainey was absolute swoon material.

The slow burn between Zoe and Coast was perfect, and their growth together felt real and heartfelt. The side characters, including the biker family, added so much warmth and depth to the story. It’s sweet, swoon-worthy, and full of moments that will leave you sighing in satisfaction.

Not your usual biker romance!

This book really surprised and delighted me. Yes, bad boy biker. Yes, young mum in distress. Yes, some truly bad guys. Yes, lots of good spice. But also yes, very moving biker back story that gave depth and heart to the entire book.
Initially slightly put off by, to me, at least, the sort of creepy cover, I gave the book a chance and was immediately drawn in by the young mother with an infant and few resources. No spoilers here but the MMC has hidden depths and a good heart. All the other characters are well-drawn and enhance the story. Don’t miss this one.

The touching story of Coast

This is book ten of the Golden Glades and this was certainly will tug on your heartstrings. Both lead characters Coast and Zoey have baggage and trauma. We get their histories as their love journey progresses. Coast wants nothing to do with a serious relationship or children. However, when Coast helps Zoey and baby Lainey in an alley get away from some mobsters that she saw them kill people, Coast realizes that he is already in deep. Those scenes where he takes care of a sick Zoey and Lainey is so touching. There is a happy ending. Read On!

Coast flips the script

We know Coast as a playboy who's all about the good times and has a weird affinity with kids. Zoe is in a bad spot and gets in to an even worse one, when a man with a dangerous vibe saves her life.
I loved getting to know more about Coast's background and why he was allergic to anything serious. Zoe is a great character, who got a rude awakening from life, but is working to make life better for her and her baby.

Great story about found family, fighting for the good things and well earned happy endings.
Can't wait for the next installment of the GG henchmen.

Amazing

“He’s a bad guy,” ... “But I think he might be a really, really good man.”

This was so good. I loved Coast. The entire Golden Glades group has been a lot of fun to read, and I love the covers.

It was great to meet new mc guys and see more of Eddie. I can't wait for more books.

There was action and spice. Both were fun and kept the story going, but Coast's background was so interesting and those dang epilogues... I could spend days reading all these authors' epiloges for her books. They give me all the feels and after all the new people we meet in this one, I will be hoping for their books too.

This story!!!

I adore this story so much!
Coast has never been really close to anyone. He doesn't like to be attached but enjoys the ladies, parties and fights.
One night after the bar (and meeting 2 new prospects) he helps a woman with a baby, Zoe and Lainey.
Zoe is a single mom with a cute 3 month old daughter. She works so hard and mama bears when she needs too.
The story goes from there and is exactly what we never knew we needed, really it is what Coast needed.
The look we get into foster care is heartbreaking but opens your eyes
This has been one of my top reads this summer.

Another fun Golden Glades read from one of my favorite authors!

This time, one of our Golden Glades bikers falls for a former ballerina. But what a story SHE has to tell! I keep thinking of that song, Never Gonna Dance Again, when I think about this book. But, spoiler! She does dance again. Just not in the way you might expect.

Add in an adorable little baby, some bad guys doing bad things, and an MC that comes to the rescue of both and you have a gloriously fun read.

Coast and Zoe

Another winner from Jessica Gadziala! Coast was mysterious with all his tattoos and he turned into so much more. I loved Zoe and Lainey. I'm a sucker for a single mom storyline and Coast had a knack for caring for babies. When the reason for his experience came out, it was heart breaking but also the sweetest. I loved the epilogue. Hope to hear more from Ryland, Grayson and Amy. Oh and Brooke. She was hilarious.

Party man to parent???

I love these characters. Coast was a favorite in the other books but his own story just got to me. He is so giving but does think he deserves a better life than what he has. Such a surprise when it comes to Zoe and her little one. Can you say Swoon worthy!!! Really loved this one in the series.

Loved these characters. Would have loved more story based on their pasts, but I often wish these books by my fave authors were just longer. Still some fascinating characters in this MC to explore. This story didn't have much of the older MC characters in it, which made sense with the type of guy Coast was. Hopefully some more of them in the next one; fingers crossed for York or Velle.

They are so right together.

Coast and Zoe's story was amazing. Zoe a struggling single mother is running for her life when Coast saved her. And their love story begins. Every time he helps her with baby Lainey you just fall in love with him a little but more. I couldn't put this book down.
