This is a memoir, not a history of a the Falklands war. (The author was the commander of the amphibious assault group.) Much of the book covers the political infighting and the reasons behind the confusion within the UK forces. If you want a better understanding of the poor coordination that caused huge problems, this the right book. If you want a history of the campaign, go elsewhere.
