Invitations and Commitments: A Rule of Life

Rate this book
It is my opinion that a deeper experience of God is being nurtured in the Vineyard through the contemplative life. Perhaps we can take John Wimber's admonition to "take the best and go!" and extend it beyond the Vineyard, reaching back for the best of the contemplative life--chewing the meat and spitting out the bones.

It’s difficult to rate a book such as this one, as it’s not read for pleasure, only pure education on the structure of the vineyard movement. No plot, no self-help, only structure, bones and meat of what makes them tick. Partly boring, partly fascinating. So, three stars is what it gets!

Beautiful, reflective little book. This is a rule of life that continually challenges and inspires me.
