If you want to know exactly what catching Greg Maddux and Tom Glavine and a bunch of other great pitchers was like, this is definitely the book for you. Also if you like sentence fragments!

O'Brien, having donned the Tools of Ignorance, was probably never intended to be a literary giant, and Wedge does little to accentuate the simplistic style. I'd say O'Brien was a better catcher than Wedge a script doctor. Interesting read, nonetheless.
