Deep Relief Now, by Dennis & Dr Jen Clark, outlines a simple means to heal emotional hurts based on Christian truths.

The first portion of the book tells the individual stories of Dennis and Dr Jen and how their lives intersected.

Dennis then explains the need to connect, stay connected, and reconnect to Christ within us, through simple prayer. He talks about how our spirit is in constant battle with our flesh. He describes the center of our thoughts, emotions, and our will.

Dr. Jen talks about allowing Christ to enter through the heart’s door and how our communications with God through prayer should be a spirit to spirit experience rather than just words or “lists” of thank yous and requests. We need to be in touch with how we feel and learn to pray to God within, not the God far off in Heaven.

The book goes on to expand on these principles and gives examples throughout of people who have been healed by using the Deep Relief Now process. Scripture is used throughout the book, and the authors’ genuine devotion to God and to helping others heal is strongly evident.

I have not initiated these principles in my own life as yet, so am unable to speak to their effectiveness. However, I am left with the impression that a person would need to be strongly rooted in their faith and have a deep understanding of their relationship with Christ to be able to apply these thought processes to a truly wounded and hurting spirit.

I would recommend this book as a resource to those who are burdened by a need to forgive, a need to overcome anger, or a need to recover from other crippling emotions that block them from leading a spiritually healthy life.

“Go beyond self help and get spiritual help! A time comes for everyone when theirs and mental exercises just don’t cut it, and you need something more to heal your pain. It’s time to go beyond merely easing the hurt, and move toward complete, deep relief!

Deep Relief Now is an interesting book filled with many personal stories and testimonies of folks that have experienced deep comforting healing by living in the Spirit by adjusting their understanding of communing with God with their whole life… not just hit and miss… here and there.

The authors, Dennis and Dr. Jen Clark, openly share their painful stories, as well as their triumphs in this book. They share/teach the reader to connect with God on a deeper, richer level and show us how to recognize when we are out of alignment with Him.

This is a book that requires some time to read, study, understand and put into practice all of the “techniques” (for lack of a better word) that the author’s have learned over many years.

Review Title: BFF=Best Forever Forgiveness (review of Deep Relief Now by Dennis & Dr. Jen Clark)
Reviewer: Janice S. Garey
*****5 Stars

The story of how the two authors met and later married stirs up the beginning of the book by acknowledging the supernatural intervention of God in the lives of those who draw close or just a little closer to Him. The beginning validates the rest of the book as something worth hearing about.

The authors are generous in sharing the way to forever forgiveness that eludes so many, even Christians, who have just not gone the depth with Christ as the ultimate "Forgiver." This is such valuable information for those who are prone to holding grudges and looking for things in the present to support ill feelings toward others in their lives. This couple has put into this book what numerous counseling sessions might cover to help with the hoped for hurdle to forgiveness of long term hurts. Save yourself the hourly rates of counseling and make the small investment in this book for major relief from destructive emotions.

I received this book from bookfun.org in exchange for reading it and giving my honest review. I know of a number of people I would like to bless with a gift of this book. Do you know anyone who likes to rehash hurts from the past? I think we all know those people and may even be one of those people ourselves. This book is a blessing as it truly shows the way to forever forgiveness through Christ.

"Deep Relief Now" is a great book filled with wisdom, common sense and scripture. Dennis and Dr. Jen Clark have written a book that, if used as they describe, can help improve the quality of your life. It can help you overcome the pain and heartache of shame, depression, grief and anger. Of course, the only one that can give you the healing you crave is God. The Clarks have given the tools to help on this journey toward healing.
"Deep Relief Now" starts out with the aurhors' personal stories. Then they get into the necessity of forgiveness and prayer. They do a great job explaining that life situations do not "make" us, they teach us. For example, if we fail at something, that does not make you a failure, it just means you failed, you had a temporary setback. We need to feel the pain of the moment, then pray, forgive, and move on. That is the way to relief. Granted my explanation is the simplified version!! Throguh Christ we can find deep love, healing and joy, but first we must allow God into our hearts, walk in the Spirit, and follow Him!

Part One of Deep Relief Now is the inspiring story of a pastor and a counselor and God's divine leading in their lives, to bring them together as a couple and ministry partners. Their own personal testimonies and experiences plus those of others add validity to the therapy tools of Deep Relief Now. They provide step by step instructions for dealing with those hurts and pain in our lives--even ones that have been buried and festering for years. They show how to deal with the past but also how to continue to live in Him by continually keeping our heart's door open to His loving, healing presence. Scriptures throughout affirm every idea presented. This is a book that can be read again and used as a reference to be consulted frequently. They provide the Blue Card Prayer outline for help with the DRN approach to healing. It is a book that you will read and refer to and pass on to other hurting individuals. I recommend this book. I received this book through TBCN in exchange for an honest review.

Are you living with deep seeded pain? Do you want lasting relief? Then you need to read this book and follow the simple solutions given to find deep relief and find it now. Some of the God tools they give us are prayer, forgiveness and to be quiet and listen. We need to connect with God and reconnect when that connection is broken, to develop the fruit of the spirit and so much more.
Dennis and Jen start out by giving us some background information about their lives, how they met and their ministry based on biblical principles. There is scripture throughout the book and testimonies. This book will help you get deep relief from your pain and fears and have a personal and spiritual relationship with God.
This is a book to read over again and again.

Deep Relief Now by Dennis & Dr. Jen Clark
Deep Relief Now by Dennis & Dr. Jen Clark is a good book. It is informative, teachable and fairly easy to follow. I do wish it had a few more examples of the process. But overall it seemed to have good ideas. It is a guide for emotional healing. A real deep healing that comes from God himself. This happens when you let him search your heart. The authors Dennis and Dr Jen Clark walk you through the process of forgiveness, through prayer and intercession with God. I give Deep Relief Now four stars.
I want to thank the authors Dennis and Dr. Jen Clark and publisher for bringing educational Christian books like this one to readers like me. I would also like to thank The Book Club Network Inc. for providing me with this book in exchange for my honest review.

The authors make a bold claim for this book. “No matter how deep or longstanding your pain may be, if you follow the simple solution offered in this book, you can experience deep relief right now … you can experience deep and lasting relief of your underlying emotional hurts.” (12-13) They do deliver. After telling their own story of getting together and God giving them new ministry, they share their work that is based on biblical principles. The key to experiencing the deep relief is intimacy with the Father. They spend time on that and provide practices in doing so. I recommend this book.

Deep Relief Now by Denis and Jen Clark has been a great book. I have been using it as my devotions, reading a chapter a day and I think that’s the best way to read this book in order to really read and soak in the knowledge that they are giving. I loved how they started out telling about their own stories (background) and then how they met and how they have used the techniques that helped themselves heal and in turn share with the reader. Great book - one I will be reading more than once and definitely sharing with others.

Deep Relief Now is informative, easy to read and understand. It is also a book that needs to be read slowly to be absorbed. I will be reading this book more than once in order to get all I can out of it. The book walks you through the steps to take to a deeper relationship with our Father. This will then in turn help you to have less emotional stress with the ultimate goal of less pain. I am very glad I recieved this book and can use this book in my own life.

Good read

I'm just finishing the book and have to say it has blessed. I'm looking forward to applying the teachings more in depth. For now though; I can say it has definitely lived up to its "billing".
