The author of "Riptide" and "Blood Knot" returns with a tale of murder and political corruption. The murder of two aid workers in Ethiopia is dismissed as a tragic but random guerrilla action. But when the dead woman's brother is almost killed, it becomes obvious the case is not so simple.
Clawhammer is a great read. Well written, manageable cast of characters who hold surprises for the reader, well developed settings, and a plot that holds a surprise in every chapter. Across between a mystery and an adventure thriller, the book manages to hold the reader's interest throughout the book: a page turner late into the night.
