Another arc read so let’s do this

This book was a quick read, one you could probably do in a day which is cool, ends in a way you want to know what happens next to see how things go on so that’s good too.

The characters themselves were pretty well made i think that’s something you can expect from Ember Johnson, the dialogue and plot was also pretty amazing

i don’t have any criticisms on this book cause it’s just a short book , but even for a short book it was pretty well paced and already has a great plot building

Lilith is a college student that is very unlucky in love. She finds guys but they never seem to want to talk to her again. When she does to a speed dating event and she meets a tall stranger James she falls fast and he comes back to see her more.

One thing leads to another and a world that she never knew existed is abruptly reveled and that she is now a part of.

Ends on a cliffhanger but left me wanting to know what happens and wanting more. Thank you to the author for the ARC Copy for my honest review.

Blind Bite is a fun novella that will leave you wanting more. Ember Johnson brings a new twist to her fantasy writing by diving into the modern day. She packs a lot into this quick read and leaves you with a cliff that has you ready for the next novella.

You’ll find many things in this story to love: a college campus, a hot but grumpy professor, a swoony vampire, a girl looking for love in some seriously wrong places, and her best friends that are determined to see her happy.

This was a delightful novella that sets up a new series perfectly. The ending left me wanting more of Lilith and Jamie - I can't wait to sink my teeth into the next book! Lilith was an enjoyable protagonist, and the short chapters (and cliffhangers) kept me flipping the pages. The supporting cast was delightful as well, and I hope that they return in future installments, despite the predicament our heroine has gotten herself into.

Thank you Ember for the ARC!!! Firstly this novella is a wonderfully complex yet quick read (1-2 days). Ember is great at writing besties and this book doesn’t disappoint. While matching paranormal with modern day aesthetics she really brought these characters to life. This novella ends on a cliffhanger that will truly make you want the next book immediately! Add to your TBR!!

This book is SUCH a good time!

I knew I would love this novella based off the blurb and Johnson delivered! Lilith is a relatable character navigating the dismal dating pool and I love her relationship with her best friend and roommate (reminds me of me and my bestie)!

And let me tell you…when you meet the handsome stranger, you’ll love him!

Pick this up if you love vampire rom coms - perfect for a fall read or a tandem read with your bff. 👯

I had the pleasure of beta reading Blind Bite and it is my favorite Ember Johnson book to date (and she is an auto buy author for me)! It’s a super quick and fun read that’s perfect for spooky season. The characters are well developed and the ending had me craving more immediately. I loved the rom com vibes with the paranormal mix, and the pop culture takes add a bit of coziness. If you’re wanting something short, fun, and mysterious you’ll love this book!

This was a short and sweet read! Poor Lilith is having a bad luck run at dating. And then, when she thinks is a win at speed dating, everything goes even more imaginably wrong! I enjoyed Lilith and her friends and their amazing friendship. Ends in a cliffhanger that makes me want the next one!
