I didn’t plan to fake-date a grumpy, brooding rock star to save our small-town festival. But when the mayor wants something, he gets it.
Ethan Collier was moody, guarded, and far from charming. As an event planner, I’ve handled worse—or so I thought.
Perfect smiles. Stolen glances. Between late-night walks and lingering touches, our fake romance started to feel real. The chemistry wasn’t staged—at least not for me. But the way he reached for my hand, the way he watched me when he thought I wasn’t looking... it wasn’t fake for him either.
Then the media got wind of our staged romance—and spun it into a scandal. Headlines attacked my integrity and my career hung by a thread.
But one look in Ethan’s eyes, I saw the promise - he’d stand by me, fight for me...maybe even fall with me, if that's what it took.
Their Unintended Future - Melody wasn’t looking forward to the task she was given to convince Ethan to perform at the town’s fair, but it appears fate had plans for them, as they found themselves in a chaotic situation. Ethan was apprehensive about agreeing to Melody’s request, but he was happy to spend time with her, which led to them getting to know each other and their attraction growing.
Unfortunately, Ethan and Melody’s lives were turned upside down when all their efforts and their budding romance was called into question, which put a strain on them. Luckily, Ethan stepped in to resolve the matter, which gave them the opportunity finally confess their true feelings and embark on a real relationship. This is a wonderful story about an unexpected bond, that leads to an unshakeable and determined love connection. You will enjoy reading this book as much as I did and be happy to recommend it.
I received a copy of this book free and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
I liked this book as it reminded me of my life when I met my husband, the moment our eye's met it was love at first sight, and he couldn't wait to marry me. I loved than Ethan took a chance as he came out of hiding as his former band stole his songs and ghosted him! I liked Olivia who had planned to become an event planner at a very young age, but she never received the recognition that she deserved.
