Lewis, Sam Portaro wades into the abyss of confronting a life of faithfulness in a world where the Church has created a dictionary unintelligible to anyone not part of itself. This exploration of the Book of Common Prayer's catechism did a really good job of fleshing out the topics that are discussed. I really appreciated the book's tone and Portaro's frankness. The analogies and reflections were thought-provoking and I found that many resonate with my experience of the church.
