CLIFFHANGER WARNING
For a cop, Jess is too trusting and naive. She trusts Tristien, for some reason...AFTER she is drugged by some unknown person (she should have known not to turn her back on her drink). Like she wouldn't be in HUGE trouble if it found that she is a cop, she feels safe. Jess is arrogant, thinking that all men are lusting after her and women are jealous. This story seems kind of unrealistic. Jess is sitting there while they are talking club business. I honestly don't think that would happen even if Tristien vouched for her. But I don't know about real MCs...only what I read I've books.
This book is titled as an erotic romance...BUT THERE AREN'T EVEN DETAILED SCENES!! Wth. It built up, then it just stopped, and BAM, next chapter. Went from 3 to 2 stars after that disappointment. Don't title it as erotic if its not, because that's half the reason I wanted to read it.
And THIS DAMN BOOK ENDED MID SENTENCE, and said to be continued. Oh hell no. I HATE it when authors do that ish. Just makes me mad, and the story is almost always going to lose a star for it
