I was LOVING this one in the beginning, but the FMC calling all of the MMC’s “daddy” any time she addressed them heavily grossed me out. Love a daddy kink in the bedroom.. not when the FMC is having a casual convo and just throwing out “please, daddy” hard pass for me
Four Stepbrothers & I is book one in the O’Reilly Fight Club series—packed with possessive men, found family, forbidden stepbrother heat, obsession, and a heroine who learns what it means to be wanted, protected, and utterly claimed.
Four Stepbrothers & I : O'Reilly Fight Club Series by D.E. Bartley is a NAUGHTY why-choose dark romance full of spice.
Jasmin can't rely on anybody but yourself with an absent father and a drug addict for a mother, she has made her own way in life. So when mother sobers up and meets a new guy- not only does he come with money, but also four VERY good-looking sons.
The O'Reilly brothers [Christian, Jason, and twins: Sean and Maximus] have built what they have from the ground up and are feared by all who know their name. They don't show any care for anyone but each other - until they meet their new stepsister.
They just want to give her everything she could possibly want and need. They want her to see that they would burn the world so she can finally understand that they aren't going to leave her like everyone else has in her life.
The problem is that love they share for her isn't that of brothers and a sister. Because unbeknown to Jasmin- she belongs to them.
They swore they would wait until her 21st birthday before they made her theirs but an unexpected change of events means their ballerina will be theirs sooner than expected.

I was entertained. I recommend this book to lovers of why-choose dark romances with darker elements. There is some BDSM as well.
Jasmin is trying so hard to be independent but the brothers just want to claim, protect, and take care of her. She is bratty and she feels almost small to me but she does find her voice and starts coming into her own.
We don;t know exactly what line of business the brothers are actually but we do know that it is dangerous and once Christian claims her as HIS... there is no going back. She has to have security at all times and the ENDING!!!! ugh! Can I please know what happens next!
To say that the ending of the book just hooked me in where I want to know how the story continues - is an understatement.
Please keep in mind this is a series and I feel like we may have just touched the surface in book 1.
Thanks so much to Vinci books and author D. E. Bartley for the gifted book. All opinions are my own.
Jazzy’s story is heartbreaking yet full of hope. She’s been through it all - a father who left, a mother who battled addiction, and a childhood that forced her to grow up too fast. When her mom finally got clean and remarried, Jazzy found comfort in her stepbrothers, the four guys who would eventually become her entire world.
Years later, after her mother relapsed and their family fell apart, the guys never truly let go. Despite years of distance, they show up when she needs them most - rescuing her from a moldy apartment and a job that’s slowly breaking her. The love and care they show her afterward is both touching and healing - they hang pictures of her around their home, attend every single ballet performance, and gently help her rebuild her confidence, body, and life.
This story balances heartbreak and healing beautifully. It’s about found family, unconditional love, and the kind of people who choose to stay even after everything falls apart.

I don’t normal moan about writing, as someone that’s dyslexic I normally enjoy to simple easier reads.. but I guess there is a first time for everything. It felt like this book was written and published in one night. It reads very child like simple As someone that’s LOVES RH/why choose and dark romance for me to say this made me feel uncomfortable? Yea I did because the mmcs I love would never force someone to eat food after a traumatic event! Is controlling in all the wrong ways! This book just gave me the ick and the pet names were Cack. I feel bad for this review but I guess I had to be honest sorry
