I was hopeful for this one - tea and trio? Sign me up. But sadly, this read like really badly written fanfic. We're talking Literotica levels of bad. If you're looking for good trio, pass on this one and find something stronger. This is a very weakly brewed cuppa.

I love reading ménage stories and this one was definitely a good one. As I said before it's a quick story so it can be easily read in one pull. But of course since it's so short there isn't much room for things as character development. I would've liked to know more about Layla, Gil and Hunter. Especially Hunter intrigued me. That man was seriously hot. A story for Layla's friend and co-worker Siri was also set in the beginning so I wouldn't mind reading that one too sometime.
Overall, Tea for Three by Kate St. James was an easy to read story from Ellora's cave with sexy characters and panty-dropping-hot scenes. Definitely a quick story that I enjoyed.

It's been a while since the last time I read menage book and I enjoyed this one. It's short and definitely easy to read; I finished it for like an hour. I really wish it could be a wee bit longer and more detailed though, because I don't really feel the chemistry between the characters. But still, I liked reading it because I was in the mood for quick read before bed and this book definitely a great choice.
Overall I enjoyed it. :)

I'm not sure how to rate this book. I guess it was okay for an erotica read, maybe a little too much at the end... There isn't really a story behind it, just a boyfriend giving his girlfriend a 'surprise' with his friend Hunter. If you want to read a short ménage scene then you can try it but we don't know much about the characters so if you're looking for something deeper where you get to know their past etc, you won't find it here. (And just so you know, it's not MM but MFM)

I’ve read quite a few different Insta love spicy stories, and most of them have a bit more story background. This one was five seconds in. It became a 20 minute spicy read. Not to say that’s a bad thing, however, I just wasn’t into it.
I think this could’ve been better if it was expanded upon and introduced the characters more naturally and their experiences together and all of the background story that was really missing. Even in short and instalove stories, there’s more background than there was in this.

This was a quick read and a bit spicy, but not too much. I liked the friendship between Gil and Hunter and that Hunter understands this is to happen on ly when he is in town. The orgasm challenge is nice also.

Tea for Three was a very quick read… in fact, it didn’t even feel like 40 pages. Well, it’s a Quickie from Ellora’s Cave… which really says it all.
So the blurb really says it all. Layla and Gil are dating, and it’s probably her first serious relationship. But to spice things up in the bedroom, Gil decides to bring in his best friend and business partner, Hunter. Where Gil is smooth and refined, Hunter is wild and tattooed.
Within the first chapter the heat is turned on and it simmers until the last page. There is a touch of back story, to make the characters a little more real. But outside of this encounter and the taking of a next step in a relationship, there really isn’t much growth. However, when picking up a Quickie, I never really expect that. I want down and dirty sex. And this book does deliver. Layla, Gil and Hunter tear up the sheets. And through it all, I learned a new term. Who knew what “”teabagging”" was? I sure didn’t. But I know now.
This is a solid book for what it is… a short novella. I, personally, could have used a little more plot and character development. But all-in-all, it was enjoyable.

Layla loves Gil but she has always looked for a lot of sexual adventure. She is thrilled and surprised one night after work when Gil shows up with his best friend Hunter and a promise for new adventures in their relationship.
As I have said before, I learned a long time ago that if you go into erotic stories not expecting too much, you will not be disappointed and with that it in mind, this did not disappoint. This is a super short, hot sexy read. It is a straight ménage story, no m/m, no BDSM, just lots of hot sex. As expected with an erotic novella, there is no character development just "lets get it on."

Layla and Gil have a good thing going and Layla is wondering if Gil is the guy who she might be able to settle down with. But Layla is worried that the spark between her and Gil will die, like it has with all of her previous relationships. Gil is aware of Layla's concerns and he is willing to do what he has to do to make their relationship a success- even inviting his best friend Hunter into their bed.
While brief, this story incorporates lots of emotions- and lots of steam. Gil and Layla are so attuned to each other and so perfect together that they can explore all limits of their relationship. Hunter is just what their relationship needs to progress to the next level. The steam in Gil and Layla's relationship is kicked up a notch with the addition of Hunter, but it also opens an honest dialogue between Gil and Layla about their feelings for each other and the future of their relationship. Great read.

The cover is pretty and hot and sexy. I just love the purple and the fact that the woman's still stressed while the guys appear to not be. It's obvious who's in power, and that's always sexy.
This was much shorter than I had expected. No wonder it's called a 'tease'! Most certainly a PWP, where we just get the barest hints of who the characters are in straight up short exposition. A teashop owner is realizing she might be getting bored being monogamous though her boyfriend is super hot and sexy and near perfect. Apparently he's figured this out, and luckily for her, decides to invite his close friend over. They go straight to it, giving her the fantasy that most of us women want, having two sexy men ravish you at the same time,and even better, without worry of jealousy. Sadly, this wasn't a perfect menage story, as the men are only focused on the protagonist, but it wasn't as dismissive as other M/F/M stories could be.
It's a quick read, and at least for me, was a scenario I don't see often. And while it was nice, wasn't quite steamy enough for me. Short and to the point, which, really, when it comes to smutty reads, not what I look for.

I am sort of torn with how to review this, as I feel that it either needed more information or less. It just seems as though the book could not figure out what it wanted to be. There are token worries on the part of the heroine in an obvious attempt to try to engage an emotional response from the reader, but not enough background to support it.
Additionally, there is something very off-putting about the guys’ dialog. Throughout the book they are throwing around all of these sexual terms, but instead of reading as well informed it comes across as a sort of juvenile “I just learned these words now I am going to use them!”.

Really quick read. A novella from Elloras Cave. Hunter and Gil have been a duo since high school and they find it in their hearts to share EVERYTHING! Ha! What's wrong with that? Layla is a very sexual person and has some reservations about not sleeping with anyone else while she is with Gil. She realizes that she cares about Gil and if she is never with another man again she will be fine. Hunter comes in to the shop with Gil and things heat up. She realizes that she cant stay away fro her attraction to Hunter. She makes the first move and it is on from there. The scenes are nice and I felt it a little rushed in some parts. Overall good fast read. Lucky woman!! Two hot men!! Bring it on!!

What a wonderful little novella! Kate St. James, transports you to a little tea shop. Layla the owner is in what may be her first long term relationship. This was a quick read novella. It was lots of fun to read and made me excited to want to read the next one in this series. This was a new author to me i would definitely recommend trying more books by her.

I received a copy of Tea for Three from NetGalley for an honest review. Well, let me just say this book waste no time getting down to business!!! It's a short book, so time is of the essence! Layla is in a relationship with Gil and notices he's throwing hints about a threesome. She assumes, by the comments he's made, that that someone is his buddy from high school, Hunter. She makes what could be a make or break a relationship decision to go after Hunter while Gil isn't there. Gil walks in and the party begins!! I would have liked this book to be longer and gotten to know the characters better. I hope there are more/longer stories of Gil, Layla, Hunter and Siri in the future.

There's no time for character development but things are inferred to that help you feel an established connection between characters. Layla & Gil have been dating for a few months & one night Gil decides to invite his friend Hunter to play. Things get real hot real fast. While it's not somethingI would normally read, I liked it & am looking forward to the rest of the series.

This book is a short erotic quicky. Layla is in love with Gil; however, she always longs for sexual awakenings. One night after work, Gil shows up with his best friend Hunter and they promise to show her just how much sexual awakening they want to give her.
Books like this are short and have very little plot line and character development. It is however, a very hot and sexy read. I was not disappointed with this book, I new what it would be like when I first saw the synopsis. I would like for it to be expanded into a full length novel!! I think that would make for an incredible read!!

This is a really short quick read, but it's hot. Layla runs a tea shop and her boyfriend Gil surprises her with a menage with his best friend Hunter. There is little time wasted on back stories of the characters and relationships. It felt like I missed the first few chapters in a book and jumped straight to the sex scene. I would have like to have a little more story before and after, but if you're looking for something quick and steamy this will fit the bill.

The was a quick, exciting and seemingly effortless erotic short. There's not a lot of character development because it's not a novel, but there is enough that it's a story and not just a sex scene...or several sex scenes. This was well written and we get not only physical stimulation but also mental stimulation for both the reader and Layla. The only negative for me was that it ended. I would have loved to know a little more about Hunter and seen what actually happens at the club and after. This one goes onto my coveted re-readable shelf, and I'll be looking for more from Kate St. James.

This was a very quick and spicy read. I was a little confused at first - there were a lot of detailed characters introduced that didn't play in to the book at all, maybe they'll show up again later in the series. The menage portion of the story was well written and had lots of good detail. I didn't feel much emotion between the two main characters - and no emotion at all with the tie to Hunter. It was brain candy - no real nutritional value, but yummy just the same.

This story is not about a story. It's a quickie! Kinda like watching a YouTube video. SO please don't expect something that is just not attainable in a few chapters. You're just setting yourself up for disappointment. It's not like it doesn't tell you how long this actually is.....

I usually don't read the Quickies from Ellora's Cave. The stories just aren't long enough for my time and money. However, I was intrigued by the blurb for this one, and I don't regret buying it one bit. This story was very hot, and didn't require any of the backstory that I prefer for my stories to have. I plan on checking out this author's full length novels in the future.

If your looking for a quick and very hot mfm read with not a lot of character depth then this is your read. It was only 85 pages. I enjoyed it. Just a few parts where hiw it didn't flow well. It seemed she went from thinking about something happening and then all of a sudden it was and I was like ok. I missed the transition from internal thoughts to actual reality.
