Hard Launch is an angsty, second-chance romance about unfinished love, mutual obsession, revenge—and an invisible string that never loosens its grip.
What begins with a chaotic phone swap at airport security quickly becomes something far more a collision with the man who lived in every almost and every one day that never came. Callum Rhodes loved Sienna Ashford once, lost her, and spent a decade trying to forget.
Buckle up. This is the hard launch.
Do you believe in fate? Sienna Ashford doesn’t.
Not after disappearing on Callum Rhodes eight years ago with no explanation, no goodbye, and a lifetime of questions she’s never dared answer. Now she’s Hollywood’s It girl—with a messy past still chasing her and in no mood to see the ex–almost-situationship she never forgot.
But fate has other plans.
A chaotic run-in at airport security.
A $400 bribe just to stand behind her.
Two accidentally swapped phones in different time zones.
And suddenly Callum Rhodes is back—steadier, sharper, and somehow even harder to outrun.
When Callum suggests she swing by on her way home, Sienna—spiraling at the idea of surviving the weekend with a maybe-date—does the only logical she invites him to the gala. Where she hard launches him as her boyfriend.
It’s not entirely a lie. It’s… complicated.
Because the invisible string that’s always tied them together is knotted with a scandal Sienna never saw coming—and one Callum never expected he’d have to face.
The hard launch is the easy part. Surviving the landing? That’s another story.
I’ve been in such a “reading rut” for so long and I’m glad I chose to give this a shot. There were so many times where I thought I knew what was going to happen next, and it went in a completely different direction (in a good way!!!). Absolutely recommend this to anyone who’s looking to have their heart broken a little but also mended at the same time!!!! Love love love!
I’m officially a diehard Sienna & Callum stan 😭 I cannot believe this is the authors debut novel, it’s genuinely one of the best romance novels I’ve read and I’m already preparing for the follow up to this story.
