Very helpful basic information covering covering a wide range of ideas. It was great for me to zip through the book telling me what I needed to know as a new dog owner. I can then look further for those bits I need to.

"101 Essential Tips: Dog Care" is a helpful little guide produced with support from the makers of ComboGuard, and was given to me during my first veterinary check-up appointment at a VCA Animal Hospital.

Each tip is about 2-3 paragraphs of advice on a particular topic. Some sections include a couple of different tips, such as on basic training, playing and exercise, as well as healthcare. While some parts are only applicable to certain dog ages or gender, this was a helpful little starter for people who haven't had dogs before and a good refresher for those already familiar with canine care.

While I might not 100% agree with every piece of advice given here, I would definitely recommend to all new and current doggie parents out there.

Kis terjedelem, helyes fotók, igyekvő válogatás. Tulajdonképpen teljesen jól betölti a zsebkönyv szerepét - kezdő kutyatartók számára. Egyvégtében érdekes olvasmány, probléma esetén pedig legalább egy tipp. Az illusztrációk időnként lehetnének informatívabbak, pl. ha bolháról v. kullancsról van szó, akkor mutassák meg, hogy néz az ki egy kutya esetében.

If you are thinking of getting a dog, this is a good book to pick up before you do. But it's also great if you already have a dog too and want to learn more about Dog care. The Tips are quick and easy to read and understand.

Received this book from my vet. It was included with my puupy's flea/worms/tick treatment known as Revolution. Quick read and very basic intro for all aspects of caring for your dog.
