Don't waste your time or money with this book. It's represented as a checklist, when in reality it's a bunch of words thrown together on repeat. If you're looking for a comprehensive, well written guide on how to deal with a nuclear exchange, go with Mark Rush's "After the Flash" instead.

Be ready

This is a concise but highly informative guide for being prepared when things go wrong. The author provides a ton of useful information but in manageable chunks that keep the reader from being overwhelmed and anxious. This book is written as a roadmap that one will follow to be prepared for anything. The steps are easy to follow and proceed logically.

The author explains the myths and truths behind nuclear fall out and what you should and could do to protect yourself. There are some common household items that. An be used. Most important is to have a plan and be prepared to make quick decisions rather than procrastinate.

With fear of a nuclear fallout I got this book to put my family's mind at ease with a survival roadmap. I found this book to be interest and help if there was a high stakes emergency it will help my family stay calm and be prepared.
