“Top Ten” main ideas of Genesis, ways God used Jonah, reasons to share the Gospel, ways to experience Biblical joy…- and dozens more.
Have you ever asked your kids, “Have you read your Bible lately?” Has someone asked you this question? Sometimes kids (and adults) have a hard time getting started with Bible study. They run out of ideas- and they’ve already read all of the “short Psalms” a dozen times. This list of topics and Top Ten prompts can help jump-start your Bible study by adding journaling and creativity. Lists are fun to make, they are relatively quick and kids seem to enjoy them. Unless a topic is unfamiliar, most of these can be completed in one setting with just your Bible, pen and notebook.
Most prompts are geared toward upper elementary students, teens and adults. There is a bonus section just for preschool children.
The book is divided into two sets of prompts. Chapters one through eight contain general topics that you can use with any character, place, book, and so forth. Chapters nine and ten take a more in-depth look at single topics.
Creative Bible Journaling: Top Ten Lists is great, but it is only 26 pages of actual content. I paid $0.99 for it, otherwise, I would return it. It does have some great ideas. The prompts are useful for poets and writers as well as Bible Journalers.
This has some good ideas and starting points but is weak is assisting with proper study. I would recommend this for someone already journaling and knows study techniques not a newbie to journaling
