Jamie smiled and shook her head taking in Heather’s appearance. She was wearing Jamie’s old soccer sweatshirt, with her hair pulled back into a ponytail and short running shorts. “Did you cut your hair? It looks good.”
Heather pushed her glasses up on her nose and smiled. “How could you tell, it’s pulled back?” Jamie just smiled, but didn’t answer. “I had five inches cut off.” Heather took it out from the ponytail and ran her fingers through it showing Jamie that it now laid just past her shoulders.
“I like it. Probably feels better when you run.”
“Yeah I was hoping that it would take off a couple pounds.” Heather grinned and handed Jamie the butter for her bread.
