Author Biography: Gordon R. Weihmiller is a retired naval officer earning a Ph.D. in political science at Georgetown University. Dusko Doder is a veteran "Washington Post" correspondent who has covered the State Department and Moscow, most recently as bureau chief, and a fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
