Best Christian nonfiction I’ve read in a while. Compelling story telling and I liked how he included cultural connections to creativity. The best framework for how to restore your creativity. Would recommend even to those who don’t consider themselves creative!
This book helped me realize that I am created to be creative, even if “creative” is not a word I would typically describe myself as. Going to take some time to process this new identity.
Such an encouraging and interesting book, packed full of stories of other creative people and their journey. So much wisdom and some brilliant quotes and creative exercises that I hope to put into practice.
Si monumentum requiris, circumspice
- if you seek his monument, look around you (Inscription on Christopher Wren’s tomb)
This is an incredible book. AL helps awaken the creative spirit and gives context for how and where this is nurtured throughout history. Clear steps to finding creative freedom, whether one considers themselves a creator or not.
