Best Christian nonfiction I’ve read in a while. Compelling story telling and I liked how he included cultural connections to creativity. The best framework for how to restore your creativity. Would recommend even to those who don’t consider themselves creative!

Such an encouraging and interesting book, packed full of stories of other creative people and their journey. So much wisdom and some brilliant quotes and creative exercises that I hope to put into practice.

This is an incredible book. AL helps awaken the creative spirit and gives context for how and where this is nurtured throughout history. Clear steps to finding creative freedom, whether one considers themselves a creator or not.

This book suffers from something a lot of books on creativity suffer from- it’s terribly difficult to talk about creativity- much better to show it.

A few worthwhile quotes in this- but overall a pretty cookie cutter Christian book on creativity- which is deeply ironic.
