One of my favourite reads this year. I was hooked from the first chapter.
Complex characters. Sizzling spice. Emotional. Scarry at times. Surprise cameos. Bitter Reflections has it all.
The Damsel in distress and the Underdog. Faye and Shadow have to be one of my all time favourite characters. They're both in an impossible, no-escape situation, and in all the darkness, it's a shadow that comes to the rescue. I devoured this book, and I still want more. The suspense had me with my heart in my throat the whole time, and I was suspicious of EVERYONE.
No words to say how much I love this book, and what a total loss it is for anyone who doesn't pick it up to read it.
