What book has everyone else been reading? This is recycled garbage!! It’d be nice if marks could make this stuff up on his own but a third of this whole book consists of quotes from other people.

Here’s one such quote, check out this bullshit, “character assassinations are just one level removed from an actual assassination”. I shit you not, marks is preaching that the escalation process goes from giving a frank opinion of someone, directly to killing them!!! In what world does that make sense? What ever next!? Someone looks at you funny, stab them in the neck?

Eight vital principles for dealing with conflict explained in this tiny, but powerful, book! Let's face it, unless you live alone in a cave, you have encountered conflict with others. This book will help you adopt a proper mindset for addressing these conflicts and provide the essential steps to deal with the person and the problem. This is a book I wish I had read multiple times when I was much, much younger! Read it now and you will save yourself a lot of grief.

I love the 5 steps to resolving conflict. I've read them before in Resolved by Orrin Woodward. But this book explains the principles deeper and gives dialogue examples of how it would work properly. I have used them before in conflict and they do work. I would consider this book a very important tool for anyone who leads, works with or directly reports to other people.

Amazing step-by-step guide to resolving conflict and strengthening relationships. This is now one of my recommended books for newlyweds (along with Personality Plus and The Five Love Languages).
