Cover gets 5++/5☆
Story 3/5☆
I loved Malachi.
This book has the tired overused trope of the female who is too stubborn, proud and arrogant to accept help from people who care about her. She would rather make her life difficult by being a martyr. It was exhausting reading about her defeatist attitude. If she truly wanted to leave, she could have at anytime. How many thousands upon thousands of dollars does a person need to get in their car and drive to another city, get a job and start over? She hated Malachi because she blamed him for not seeing her problems. Apparently she wasn't intelligent enough to advocate for herself to Maggie and James who loved her. She just wanted to wallow in self pity. I could not relate to her at all as she seemed pretty stupid to me.
The plot kind of got ridiculous with her not dead mother being the evil mastermind behind the trafficking, a secret society and fathers selling their first born daughters, 🙄.
The best part was the prank war though that fizzled out and there was no strong resolution.
There also didn't seem to be much of a resolution to the trafficking/secret society plot.
There were 2 epilogues which were nothing more than gratuitous sex scenes.
The writing was weird to me, somewhat fractured and it didn't flow well. Jumped around too much. The book was too long but hey at least there wasn't a kidnapping. That would have been a DNF for me.

5/5 ⭐️ 5/5🌶 Check CONTENT/TRIGGER WARNINGS

For a MC read this was a beautiful love story.
2 MMCs with childhood traumas that leaves them broken and guarded to trust and love.

Both are fierce fighters in a ring, the heart & spirit so when things feel like there up against them they fight with all they have including each other when trying to protect themselves from possible heartache but slowly with trust with no easy feat they both learn to finally trust and help each other to heal and mend each other's spirits & hearts.

You won't be dissapointed with this book. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

OMG this was a great book. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was so intense. I was on the verge of my seat and I couldn't even put it down. Malachi and Candace were physical attraction was spicy hot of forbidden romance. A gripping enemies-to-lovers motorcycle club romance ever as soon as I saw the book cover it was and eye candy and it caught my attention as soon as I turn the first page all the way the end of this story it was captivating of passion and danger of forbidden love affair. He was intrigue with her beauty and she was intrigue with the bad boy era.
I highly recommend this book and you won't be disappointed. I received advance copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving my honest review. Trina Jones

I almost DNFd it but I’m not a quitter! I was so annoyed by the endless chapters of the FMC being stubborn and broken. Then banging, then emotional trauma, then karaoke(?), then banging, then a prank war? I’m so confused by the continuity of the plot! The last 30% was unbearable. Confusing time jumps and secondary characters that were unnecessary. Also we there was no resolution! The main baddie just kept on being a human trafficker and then the main characters banged again. UGH! Listen I’m all for smut but there was way too much of it and it wasn’t great.

This book is beautifully written. I absolutely loved three quarters of it, but it was way too long for me.

I loved her writing style before it became repetitive. I loved the plot, but felt we lost touch with the missing siblings for long periods of time, making it hard to believe he never stopped looking.

I'm so torn, I loved the way the author made me feel until I didn't feel anything new - and we still had 200 pages to go.
