another heartwarming (except for the homicide part) tale
A young man crosses Callaway’s path thanks to his mother’s disappearance-and her telling the son that Callaway was a reliable resource. The boy’s mother us someone from Callahan’s past.
Meanwhile, the housecleaner for a solitary eccentric stumbles upon his corpse, leaving a mystery for Detectives Fisher and Holt to unravel as there seems to be a dearth of both motive and suspect.
This book kept me turning pages until the end. A story of young love, teenage emotions and hormones. The bond between mother and son, realisation that you were sick and the mistaken actions of a best friend. Also woven into a homicide and a family stealing funds from a business. Lots to read x
The Hidden Child: A Murder Mystery ( Lee Callaway Book 12) Thomas Fincham
As good as always. Two stories happening. A lost women and a murder. Callaway has a young man who wants his Mother found which leads to all sorts of interesting developments. A man is murdered and it takes on some interesting people who are involved. A very intriguing read.
I absolutely love the Lee Calloway series! He reminds me of Columbo, he never stops until the job is done! Great characters and great plots. I can't wait until the next installment is out.
Separate investigations, with separate agendas suddenly become one investigation with two different agendas. A bit confusing but it all makes sense in the end. This edition isn't as danger filled as previous books. Guess that means Callaway is getting older.
Mr. Fincham wrote that he much time on this book and it surely shows. This is a truly great story, with many twists and turns. Great job of tying all the story lines together. Great ending, great book. Read and enjoy.
