Jake and Kit have known each other for years because he's her dad's best friend. But they have also been secretly in love with each other for years. When these two finally get together, the passion and chemistry are intense. This is a heartwarming, steamy forbidden romance with believable characters who had me cheering them on to get their happily ever after. Dirty Work is book one and a wonderful start to the Blue Collar Heat series, and I can't wait to read the next book. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this novella. The forbidden romance. Older guy, younger woman. The desire, and intensity. Yes please! These two were hot. I climbed on that side wagon and rode it until the ride was over. I enjoyed the tension between these two. To finally give in and throw caution to the wind. Just beautiful.

Kit has always been in love with her dad’s best friend Duke. Duke has tried to stay away from Kit as he has the same feelings for her. Then they share their true feelings. They were trying to figure out how things work when they are caught kissing and the entire town starts talking. This is a great read, short, steamy, sweet and complicated.

This story is a fantastic page turner. It has the older man and the younger woman, who is also the daughter of the best friend, a trope. So, a steamy, sweet, and such a great book. Kit has loved Duke for as long as she can remember, and she doesn't know that he feels the same toward her. Now it's about to come out, and all the possible repercussions. Excellent short read with a perfect happy ending.

This was really bad. Not only was the story haphazardly slapped together, the writing was juvenile at best and showed a lack
of creativity, continuity, and depth. This is the easiest book to mark "skip" that I have read in a while. I think I could spend more time writing negative things about this book than the author spent thinking about this book, but it's honestly not worth the time or energy.

Sweet & Simple

Even though this was a short read it’s was really fun and nice. It had depth. The characters are well written and you get a sense of how much they really loved each other.
