The continuation of Luca & Blake’s story is coming Summer 2026! (Blurb on the way) From awkward parent moments with Maceo to Luca building a nest beneath Luther’s desk and Luther threatening to r!p off some heads should anyone wake his Omega and their child to scandalous public moments after Blake’s first gala invitation… comes The Later Years. The duology (Beneath Our Scars & Forever We Embrace) will give you all the sweet moments the pack so rightfully deserves while getting rid of the entire empire involved in dealing Omegas. The Later Years Duology is a continuation of The Always Yours Trilogy and can not be read without first diving into the first three books. The Later Years is a softer look into Luca & Blake's pack life, their growing pains, babies, and finding out how they fit together. They've already found their HEA but now it's time to start building their forever.

Blake scared me but I am so glad he’s okay. Finally get to see more of the kids and they are just like their daddies. I love this whole pack and that once again someone is trying to destroy them. Can’t wait to read more of their story and see them get everting they deserve and more. One of my favorite series.
Very different vibe from the first three books. I liked that we got insight into the Keller fam life after a few kids but unfortunately the ongoing of the merger were just too much and felt very repetitive to me and kind of dragged the story down..
I will likely read the last book because i don’t like unfinished stories but hope it is a little less heavy on the merger talks and more of healing and the family getting back together. Hopefully less clinical and detached.
Okay. First of all… I am absolutely, completely in love with Pack Keller.
This series has completely stolen my heart, and I don’t think I’m ever going to recover from it. Every book has pulled me in deeper, and by the end of this one, I was so emotionally attached to this pack that I didn’t want to leave them behind.
I absolutely love Luca, Blake, Luther, Grayson, and Maceo. Every member of the pack brings something unique to the relationship, and that’s one of my favorite things about this series. Their personalities are so different, yet they fit together so perfectly. The dynamics between them are beautifully written, making them feel like a real family rather than just a group of characters. There are moments that make you laugh, moments that make you swoon, and moments that absolutely shatter your heart.
And then there’s Luca.
Without a doubt, he is one of my favorite Omegas I’ve ever read. Watching his journey from someone who had never truly experienced love or acceptance to becoming the center of a pack that cherishes, protects, and loves him unconditionally was incredibly emotional. Every victory felt earned, every vulnerable moment hit me right in the heart, and seeing him finally realize his worth was one of the most rewarding character arcs I’ve read in an Omegaverse series.
What I love most about Pack Keller is that their relationship isn’t just built on attraction—it’s built on trust, healing, loyalty, and unconditional love. They become exactly what Luca needs, and in return, Luca completes the pack in ways they didn’t even realize they were missing. Watching all five of them grow together was beautiful.
N. Slater has always been one of my favorite Omegaverse authors, and I genuinely love everything she writes. But this series? This one sits on another level for me. It was raw, emotional, heartbreaking, healing, and filled with so much love that I found myself completely immersed from beginning to end.
This series reminded me why I fell in love with Omegaverse in the first place. It wasn’t just about the romance—it was about found family, healing from trauma, learning to trust, and finding the people who make you feel like you finally belong.
Pack Keller will forever have a special place in my heart, and Luca will always be one of my all-time favorite Omegas.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My Review N. Slater Beneath Our Scars: The Later Years (Always Yours Book 4)
Beneath Our Scars completely pulled me back into Luca and Blake’s world, and I honestly couldn’t put it down. This was an emotional, heartwarming, and captivating continuation of a series that continues to exceed my expectations with every book.
I loved watching these characters grow through every challenge life throws at them. Seeing their family evolve while balancing love, healing, parenthood, and new obstacles made this story feel incredibly real and deeply emotional. N. Slater has a remarkable way of creating characters that stay with you long after you finish the last page.
This has easily become one of my favorite series I’ve read this year. Every installment builds beautifully on the last, making the emotional payoff even more rewarding. I highly recommend reading the series in order so you can fully appreciate the character development and everything the Keller Pack has overcome together.
I also appreciate that N. Slater is transparent with the content and trigger warnings, allowing readers to make informed choices while never compromising the emotional depth of the story.
If you love emotional romances filled with family, healing, suspense, unforgettable characters, and a love that perseveres through every hardship, I cannot recommend this series enough. I already can’t wait to see what N. Slater writes next!
I adored the first 3 books. I had Luca and Blake's story tight in my heart because every book just had me wanting to hold them so they could all be happy. I loved how the story progressed amidst all the pain and uncertainty, and how they were able to navigate their hardships and finally find happiness as a family. So I'll be brutally honest to say this installment to the story is unnecessary. They are all happy. Why do we need to drag this out? I don't need to continue reading about the problems they face. It feels repetitive at this point. Not to mention, I was getting mildly irritated at the way half of the story seems to revolve around Blake's inability to take care of himself. He is an adult, and a father at that. Why do others need to constantly be on his ass reminding him to eat or even sleep? How does he run a company where he literally never delegates? Why doesn't he delegate? Is anyone in the company that inept that the CEO basically needs to do and fix everything? By this book, I had grown tired of Blake's lack of awareness over his well being.
I'll just wait until the book about Sam, James, and Bartholomew come out since I'm most interested in how those three will develop. Safe to say, I am officially done with the Keller pack. First three books: beautiful. And that's all I feel we needed as readers. These two? A stretched out gum about how Blake isn't capable of fuckin taking care of himself.
Not what I expected. But it was great to see how the pack family was navigating through their everyday life situations. This book was mostly about a corporation fight and how the opposing business was trying to use omega survivor stories to promote their vision for growing the business. We also get to see growth, moments of weakness, healing, and the love of a pack that cares and protects each other at all cost. Everyone’s personality came through in this book even the kids. I love this series and can’t wait for the next book to see who Dorian and Victor really are and what they really want with the Keller business.
DNF at 40%. I really enjoyed books 1-3 in the series, and then this one just plummeted. Almost halfway through and it was nothing but talking and constant repetition about the kids. Like we get it, Rosalie wears a plastic crown every day and calls the shots, you don’t need to remind us every few paragraphs. A whole lot of talk with no action, I couldn’t stand the idea of pushing through to see what actually happens because it was just so boring. 🥱
Alright, we're going to keep it short and sweet! First, if you haven't read books 1-3, go do that first or else you won't understand a thing.
This takes place 4 years after the ending of book 3. The pack is still going strong except now they have added 3 kids to the mix, so there's never a dull moment in the Keller house! I love seeing the love these men have for each other and their kids. Even when outside forces are trying to tear them down, these guys will always fight for each other. I can't wait to see what happens in the last book! I will forever be attached to these men!
I love seeing books where it shows the characters after the story. I loved reading about the packs relationship and their children. The only thing that I had a hard time with was how much it talked about contacts and lawyers and business. It was obviously there for a reason but I couldnt keep completely focus on what was happening.
Beneath Our Scars: The Later Years, book 4 of the Always Yours series, by N. Slater @authornslater As always, a great book by Nic!
Holy HECK! This was an excellent book about Luther, Grayson, Luca, Blake & Maceo! Tropes: Contemporary, Omegaverse, Gay Harem, Outside Angst, Health Scare & A Cliffhanger!
I loved all the family moments, but the angst of Blake overworking and constantly worrying about what's wrong at work was very overpowering, just like in the previous books. I had hoped that would be solved and he would have changed for the better with the kids in the picture, but it seems there's no one else competent in the company but him to solve the issues so he needs to constantly be on it.
Unfortunately, I had to keep worrying about his health problems and that was in the very forefront of my mind which kept me from enjoying the rest of the wholesome sweet moments of the book fully.
Review: It took a minute for me to get into it, but by the end, I was interested and enjoying the story overall. It’s nice to see what’s going on in their lives following the initial trilogy. However, Blake is still on my damn nerves. I get his character, but at the same time, he’s just doing this to himself. That’s what took me so long to like it because I was just so upset with him. The other characters, love. I liked that they were trying to care for Blake as well as each other(because honestly, they all had issues). At the end, I felt sympathy for Blake, but at the same time, I was like, he made it worse for himself, but at the same time, working is his passion, and he can’t help that he has a condition. I did adore the kiddos and am looking forward to the next book. (And I wasn’t even going to mention the business deal because I think those two pissed me off more than Blake did!)
