The first three books in the Touch of Power series, nearly 1,400 pages of LitRPG adventure!
Jade has spent her life fighting boredom in the terminally ill ward. Surfing the net or reading, she always envied the ability of others to go out and experience the world. She knew her wish to live a normal life was far beyond her reach, but after waking up one morning without the sounds of her life support, she opens her eyes and finds herself with a weak but healthy body in a magical world.
As blue game-like system notifications fill her vision, she knows that she'll have to adapt quickly in order to survive… but this is all she ever dreamed of, so Jade is up to the challenge. She will soon realize that you need to be careful what you wish for.
This is Andara, where her true adventure finally begins.

Jay Boyce is an avid reader and traveler, explorer of new things. Daughter of a librarian and wielder of words, she is primarily an editor who's trying her hand at writing. A crazy dreamer, she creates stories in her head all the time, and finally decided to start writing them down and sharing the love. A perpetual learner, she also works at her local university attending classes with deaf students and gleaning knowledge on any random subject she can get her hands on. The best description of her has always been eclectic, because she wanted to try everything at least once.
Yes it is a omnibus of 3 previous released books, but as you read if you had read there seems to be more. I am not big on Discord, FB, or Patron but there is additional content and fixes. If you haven't read it, this is a wonderfully imaginative series that I have reread multiple times between waiting on the next to be published. At this time, the series is not yet complete. The author started another series that is also enthralling wonderful. How do you choose which series you want the next of when the answer is both? Looking forward to whatever the author writes next.
Great trilogy! There are a lot of interesting magic & monsters. Can't wait to read more.
I've been reading a lot of SYSTEM stories of varying qualities. Some have been just okay, while others, like this one, have been great. I'm looking forward to reading the next books in the series. I have ADHD and, sometimes, I'll be really enjoying a series, and then my engagement drops off, and I have to go to another book/series. The first three books in this series have been nice. Great MC and supporting characters, fun new way to look at magic and unusual new monsters. I can't wait to start book four!
The only reason I initially gave this a 4/5 was the MC felt too overpowered too fast. I could see how this might have been written for those whose lives are similar to Jade's pre-isekai.
Overall, the author writes so well and the story arc is so very enjoyable that I give this 5/5. After reading the 4th book I am more certain this is a top-notch series!
I'm tired of the many poorly written power-hungry / masochist / male-centric isekai litRPG books out there. A Touch of Power shows how women can kick a** and not be written as bland sexist typecasts in the LitRPG genre. Thank you for making Jade awesome and enjoyable to read!
Reading Touch of Power is like being transported back a decade, to when the tropes of the genre were new and power fantasy was in service to the dream of making a better world.
Friendship, found family, food, slice of life, progression, and the glory of personal excellence--verging on apotheosis--is the result, and Jay Boyce executes it perfectly.
I deeply enjoyed this omnibus! These books are not perfect - too many names, for one - but reading them is such joy. So many books (especially fantasy) are 95% grim, dark, horrible anguish with just a tiny bit of fun and lightheartedness. Well, these are different. More about self-improvement than defeating dragons, I was rooting for the main character’s success from day one. Truly a light in the darkness!
I really hope this story is continuing soon. This was my second read of the three books and I enjoyed them again and think they flow even smoother that before with the revisions.
If you’re refreshing on what happens in the first three books, or just looking for a good story, this omnibus is great. Jade is a great character and lots of development in these first three books. An interesting twist on the isekai genre. Well worth the read.
