He was just trying to write a gay INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS, he never expected it to become a cult classic!
The year was 2005 and Austin Miller (aka absman420) published his short story, POLLINATION. But the fans wouldn’t let it end -- “More!” they begged. “MORE!” They wouldn’t give up -- they wouldn’t let it go. Even today, Miller blames the fans. What you hold in your hands is the product of twenty years of obsessive badgering -- that’s right, they made him do it! They made him write the SERIES.
Because the fans themselves fantasized about finding a plant in the woods with an odd, tubular shape. They wanted to be doused in the plant’s golden pollen, feel their own muscles grow, and experience that increase in strength and power. They wouldn’t mind if the alien residing in the plant invaded their body, took over their minds via pleasure, and filled them with the desire to repopulate the planet.
And now you’re probably going to end up being one, too. That’s what happens in this series -- innocent characters are constantly being transformed into muscular monsters. Here in Season One especially, before the weeds take over the garden.
At long last Austin Miller's critically acclaimed story POLLINATION as well as the series that followed is being published in the format it deserves! Come garden with us, dear reader, and learn how hard it is to kill a good weed.
