With the timestream broken and doggos on the loose, the teenage Trinity, a.k.a.Wonder Girl, travels to the Gotham of the past to capture the elusive bat-corgi. There, she’ll encounter the greatest Robin of them all (according to him)…Jason Todd! Will the boy and girl wonders be able to put their differences aside and find the pup before it’s too late?
This series is just so much fun. Trinity #2 has everything I love about these series and characters— sharp callbacks, sibling-style banter, and yes, heroic corgis. I laughed out loud more than once reading this. It’s cute, clever, and exactly the kind of feel-good comic I want right now. Can’t wait for more!
Alright, this issue was absolutely hilarious! Every page got a chuckle out of me. The tentative romance between preteen Lizzie and Jason Todd Robin was so cute, and I love that Lizzie was trying everything within her power to not tear the fabric of space/time by telling him that Joker was going to kill him. This crossover felt a whole lot more natural than the Batman/Wonder Woman crossover over in the main Tom King Wonder Woman book, mainly because it focuses on the titular character instead of Robin. The art by Belén Ortega continues to be excellent, really selling the comedic nature of this series, while also getting some epic splash pages out of this as well. I'm really curious what time period the next issue will be set, because this is shaping up to be a really fun series.
I loved this! I laughed multiple times. Seeing Jason and Lizzie bond during this issue was both humorous and really sweet. Ortega's art kills it and King is on point. Can't wait for the next issue.
Oh boy that was some hot garbage. Didn’t like the characterization of Jason Robin. Didn’t like the constant reminder from DC that Jason’s death was his own fault (why are they so desperately committed to shilling that these days). Didn’t like what risks Lizzie was willing to take with what she was telling Jason of the past about his future. And did not like the concept of anything romantic happening between a character who is in his mid-20s and a character who was just born in current day, even if it happened between teen versions of themselves. This was weird to read and it made me kinda uncomfortable! At least the art is great, as always with these Lizzie stories from Belen Ortega.
Just…what is the point of any of this?! To get the second corgi, which is Robin, the teenage version of trinity (wonder girl) ends up tracking him to Gotham…when Jason was still active as Robin! Initially confusing her as a criminal trying to steal tires, they end up teaming up to try and track down the corgi after trinity explained the entire mess with time and Jason actually believed her enough to bring her down to the bat cave to use the computer system to access all the cities cameras and track him down. There is also a romance sub plot where trinity and Jason were really digging each other. It of course went no where, but trinity did end up admitting to Jason that he dies! Are you serious right now?! How badly are you trying to screw up time?! Obviously nothing changes because of it, but this entire characterization of Jason being the confident idiot is just off putting. They end up tracking the corgi down to the sewers after they caught footage of killer croc grabbing it. And one stellar kick from wonder girl and the day was saved and they parted ways…but not without her giving Jason a farewell kiss. I loved Jason before he died, but this was just such a strange issue.

This was very awful & was hoping more action of Lizzie or something & I can’t stand in what so ever how she’s reacting to others like it’s nothing like she knows them very well & from the last Comic how the HELL is Trevor alive again & this is very very triggering I gotta say because I’m a very very huge fan of WW & Trevor when she doesn’t cheat on Trevor with Super or others but how many more times will y’all stupid D.C IDIOTS over there is gonna kill Trevor off again after TomKing just killed him off not to long ago in his Wonder-Woman Comic 2025 that he stills writing which hasn’t finish yet but I will say tho I extremely love the art work of this Comic & TomKing WW Comic as well very very much but #3 better be amazing is all I’m saying….
so a number of Robins and Superboy's have been turned into Corgis and scattered through time and Lizzie plus allies are out to find them. Lizzie encounters Jason..you know the Robin with the pixie shoes and the shoot me yellow cape...and they...bond?
i rarely laugh at comics anymore....well apart from when they are just too stupid to believe...but this made me laugh.
this was conflicting cause i enjoy Lizzie a lot, but i was hoping the Jason thing would be platonic not romantic. the romance didn't feel forced, like there was definite chemistry there, but its just weird cause they're from different decades even though they're the same age for this event (bc time travel). idk. i'm looking forward to whatever "old Lizzie" gets up to.

This series continues to be lighthearted and fun! This was a sweet issue with a little bit of sadness, or almost regret, and I think I can see how this series is going to develop into touching on those emotions while also maintaining a bit of light-heartedness. The colors and art are terrific — I appreciate how detailed some of the backgrounds were here and there.
It was acute story and it showed the overconfidence of Jason in the most humorous way possible. This is a story when the Robins got turned into corgis. Don’t expect seriousness and you can sit back and enjoy the ride.
i honestly don’t know if i’ll keep reading the series. i think i’ll take a break from tom king’s stories where the main character is a woman. same goes for his wonder woman run. the second issue just felt so… meaningless. i think i’m gonna drop it.
This one is about the middle Trinity, who’s about 14. She goes back in time and meets Jason Todd when he’s still Robin. And this is adorable. Light hearted and fun. Really enjoyed this.
