This was a nice, fun Clone Wars story that would have fit really with the series and it’s always nice to see a variety of characters.

Special Thanks to Dark Horse Comics and Edelweiss Plus for the digital ARC. This was given to me for an honest review.

A fun little story. I liked the focus on Kit Fisto, as he has always been one of my favorite lesser-known jedi from the prequels. The fact that he gets a Mon Cala padawan in this is cool (was the padawan established previously? I am not sure). The relationship between him and his padawan is nice.

The plot was alright. Putting a Nautolan and Mon Calamarian in a story set in an underwater facility is a no-brainer. I liked the artwork, and the pacing of this was nice for a 4-issue story. Still, the all-ages format of these Dark Horse stories I think prohibits the exploration of deeper themes. While the story is fun, in never made me think or consider.

I did like the fake-out with the sea creatures eating the escape pods.
