Ivy!!! I didn’t know how you were going to top Stained in Sin but you did it!! Scarred in Silence is dark. Please check your triggers!! The hot and cold dynamic between Astra and Lucien left me dizzy! Bad things happen in this book but it highlights how strong Astra is. Lucien is a monster and he never claims to be anything but. The banter between the two was something that caught me by surprise because of how serious the book is. I found myself kicking my feet giggling at times. I can’t wait for book 3!!

I love the character development and growth of Astra. I felt her pain deep in my soul.

HOLY SHIT. This was an absolute ride!! If you love triggers, this one if filled with so many.

Our FMC battles with self harm and suicidal ideations and her life as a child to an adult has been ROUGH. But let me tell you what, when she finally realizes she’s stronger than she thinks she is, she turns into a complete badass. She starts calling shots in some scenes that are WILD.

I absolutely recommend this read if you don’t have an issue with triggers. Wow, that was so intense and I loved every bit of it 😍

This book took me on such an emotional ride! The first half is unapologetically dark, pulling me deep into Astra’s struggles and Lucien’s intense presence. Just when I thought I couldn’t breathe from the heaviness, the romance started weaving in, and it completely changed the tone of the story. By the end, I was cheering for Astra’s strength — seeing her sober, reclaiming her life, and finding love with Lucien felt so powerful. The push and pull between darkness and romance kept me hooked, and I couldn’t stop turning the pages. If you love a dark romance that transforms into something hopeful and passionate, this one is for you!

Lucien is the kind of guy who will do what you NEED not what you want. He demands loyalty & it may kill her before she willingly gives that loyalty, but my guy is patient.. sort of. When his world gets tipped on its axis after his carefully laid plan gets blown to shit, he reigns terror down on the ones responsible. Stained in Sin hurt but SCARRED IN SILENCE absolutely WRECKED me! I cannot wait for book 3!

I wish Astra got a little more of a healing story I feel like her trauma was like weirdly skimmed I don’t know how to explain it.
