Longus, sometimes Longos (Greek: Λόγγος), was a Greek novelist and romancer, and author of Daphnis and Chloe. Very little is known of his life, and it is assumed that he lived on the isle of Lesbos during the 2nd century AD.

Une oeuvre qui nous plonge dans une naïveté douce, j'ai apprécié découvrir un livre (que je n'aurais pas acheter de moi-même) gorger d'idéalisme, d'amour naïf et de retournements. J'ai apprécié ce livre et j'ai apprécié l'étudier.

Daphnis et Chloé m'a donné un certain monde parallèle dans lequel on peut s'enfuir.
L'histoire n'était pas particulièrement excitant mais innocente et tranquille et cela me touchait.
