Another in the First Biographies series. The use of historical photos and the timeline that runs along the bottom of each page are useful features. I like to read it aloud to a class, then share some of the other photos from "The Voice that Challenged a Nation." This year I also found an MP3 audio file (on the Library of Congress website) from Marian's famous Easter Day concert at the Lincoln Memorial.
