Similar to other books about stress and the toxicity of hustle culture but presented for teens or Gen Z and on.
To be fair, I bought it not reading the summary or anything so I was expecting a book for adults in the same type as Sarah Knight's books, so I was a little disappointed but that's ok.
I feel like if I was a teenager or a 20 something instead of a millennial, this would have probably been a lot more helpful. But the advice still holds up.
I did not realize this book was written specifically for teenagers until I was already in the book. This book is kind of great for what it is, and I could have used this book in my teenage years, and now. And just because it's written for older children/almost grown-ups, us adults can definitely benefit from this book.
fun, interesting read! informative and had interesting short quizzes throughout to support each section on different types of stress. the advice/ideas on how to stress manage for each type was also very interesting! quick read and would def recommend
No empirical evidence to back up factual data but as I’m reading the comments it seems like this book was geared toward teenagers. It’s very simple information.
Basic, yet helpful, and amusing self-help book. Very quick and simple read. Overall takeaway: life is a movie and would be boring without stress as the plot.
