This one is hilarious.
He watches me the entire time, and I can't help thinking it's a bit erotic. Then again, Lindon farting would probably be erotic. He'd probably find a way to make that even sexy.

I read books 2, 3, & 4 in one sitting. If you're on book 2 you already know the plot. Not much excitement in this one but we get lots of hot guys and friction between Lindon and Misty. The author tells a good story and has an engaging voice. However, as I have said previously the author seems to rush them out the door with her horrible spelling and absolutely no proofreading or even a computer grammar checker. Here we have Locks instead of Lock, Hawe's instead of Hawes' (spelled correctly later), their for they're, taught for taut (spelled correctly later), as for a, who's for whose, and anytime for any time. To me this shows contempt for the buyer.

I have actually finished reading all 4 books for Alpha Defender. The suspense in each book was outstanding. I really liked each character and the role in the story line. Please continue with your craft, it is by far spell binding the way you weave each character’s persona. Thinking about your next story.

The novella format keeps the pace tight and the tension high with a fun mix of humor, romance, and supernatural intrigue. Misty’s gradual awakening to her true self combined with the chaotic “contest” dynamic among her suitors creates an entertaining, lighthearted read for fans of paranormal reverse harem romance. The cliffhanger ending leaves readers eager for the next episode.

Book two finds Misty discovering some great things about being wanted by ten guys. Unfortunately the one she really wants still insists he's had his chance and and finding a mate is out for him.
Ms Bolryder does a fantastic job of creating characterizations for all of the men--all are hot, ripped guys, so she has to create unique personalities that are easily distinguished. The guys who seemed so full of themselves and so just out for her body anyway they can get it--have much more to offer, making the selection process even harder.
It's hard not to root for some of the guys even though Lindon talks a good fight about being out of the race--but you know what they say about actions, and believe me his actions belie his words.
There is more than just a battle for a mate going on and we learn more at the end of this one--making the next one a must have--lucky they are all out together this time. Yea!! More to come soon.

In this, the second in the series Misty is still at the mansion with her ten potential suitors and she has a difficult choice a head of her, the one she really wants doesn't want her, or does he? and how on earth is she ever going to pick between the rest.
While I'm enjoying this I have to admit that Misty is still annoying me and yes I appreciate its all new to her and she's never really had positive male attention before I just hate it when the female lead makes stupid decisions all the time and how did she ever think in a house like that when she's supposed to be safe and protected that she wouldn't have an ensuite.
Anyway Misty's dubious decisions aside I'm enjoying this read and like everyone else I want to know what on Earth is going on with Lindon.
Plot wise not much happens in this book it's just Misty getting to know her potential suitors, well until the end that is, then the book really starts to pick up.

This second book on the Alpha Contender series give more insites into the situation and how Misty try to make a wise decision about her future life mate but it's hard when your pheromones and the others affect each other so much.
Lindon it's not making it easy for her and we learn more about his pass, which it's interesting to say the least. Also we end the book with a hang cliffer that got me running to Amazon and purchasing the third book LOL

Volume 2
Lindon and Misty's story intrigues me. I normally do not like when authors break one book into several parts, but this author does tell you upfront. That I appreciated. This is why I have kept an open mind. This is volume 2. Again, so far so good. When I finish volume 4... then I will review in its entirety.

Good continuation
So the real competition to prove to Misty who she should pick as her mate is under way. She puts herself in poo precarious situations with pretty much all the men. And who else but London comes to her rescue.

Good read
Love the cliff hanger. Lindon's jealousy is amusing especially given the fact that he doesn't recognize his feelings for Misty. Wonder if it will really work for them or if someone will get to her before he comes to his senses.

excellent series!!!
I'm hooked on so many genres of romance!! Terry Bolryder's shifters series sets are excellent!! The depth of the characters and how you get the immersed into them makes them all keepers!! Very well worth reading!

I didn't particular care for this one. Misty is being beyond stupid right now. Go out alone, really. WTF? Yet, she can't understand why Lindon is so fed up with her right now. She keeps insisting she can take care of herself but I just don't see it.

Much better than the first part. Things are getting really hot between Misty and Lindon, but poor Lindon won't let himself give in, Misty can't choose between the rest of the guys and now someone wants her dead?? Smh... Talk about a full plate...
