I laughed hard as hell when Preesha was whooping Brina with that extension card and turned it on Luciano too. He thought he got off easy. Something is seriously wrong with Valentino and Luciano grandmother Lucia. The old b***h is scandalous, treacherous, and evil. First she threatened, kidnapped Preesha and forcing her to marry Luciano, and then the old witch put her hands on Preesha. Secondly all this time Lucia had Valentino running around here feeling guilty and getting blamed for the death of his ex until Melody overheard a conversation between Lucia and someone else. Once she threatened Melody. I knew then Lucia secret was going to come out. I was glad Melody told Valentino. One thing he don't do is play when it comes to Melody. Valentino proved that when him and Rhythm went after the girls that jumped Melody. He definitely dgaf checking his grandmother. Jessica showing up claiming her son was Luciano caused a lot of unnecessary drama which again Lucia was behind that. Whew lawddd I was too through when Valentino snuck and got a DNA test done on Jose. Valentino gut was right. Jessica lied but the secret that came out from them test results. Had Luciano ready to f**k his grandmother and his father up. I wonder who was responsible for what happened to Lucia. I'm proud how Rhythm stepped up when Dawn came back. I believe him getting shot definitely opened his eyes and made him want to do better before Dawn had their baby. Dawn mother have gotten on my damn nerves though. I wholeheartedly understand her being upset about Dawn being a teenage mother but Rhythm isn't a dead beat. Melody getting shot at, Brina seems to be stalking Preesha, Lucia dead, Valentino kidnapped, and Dawn was shot. Somebody is out for revenge and I'm wondering if it's Sergio because he's mad about what happened to his mother and Evelyn leaving him or if it's someone close to Luciano and Valentino family
Baby when I say it can’t get nooo better! Luciano and Pre are now in the the same house and the baby is cooking. Soo many crazy happenings! Sabrina, Pree’a bff decides to test Luciano and you know the brother going to get …BUSTED! There is going to be hell to be and Queen grandmother Lucia is NUTS!! Them French boys are not messing around. Valentino has staked claim to Melody but she is not ready. Those heartstrings come with Rythm but Val is crazyyyy! Dawn is back and Rythm is sooo happy and their little baby is cooking too. More excitement ..oh Jessica just came back in town and say her baby is Luciano.. his high school gf! I swear it is one after the other and the biggest one..OMG! Wish I could tell..part 3
Where is Valentino and who has it in for Melody!!!…Dawn has now been drawn into the mess!!!…All Dawn wanted was to get a good night’s rest!!!… There is definitely a loose end and Luciano is not on it right now because he’s stressing!!!… Nonna probably had something in place just in case something happened to her!!!…She had a hand full of cards in place!!!… I can’t wait to see what is next because the way these ppl are moving and the way Valentino is popping off is crazy!!!…Now who is going to be next!!!… Sergio knows he is low down for bedding his son’s girlfriend!!!… At this point, everyone is a suspect!!!…
This book picks up where the first one left off. That damn Lucia is the nonna from hell. She definitely has a control issue. How she single handedly ruined each man’s life (her son’s and grandsons). I love how this book illustrates the evolution of each character. Her being autistic didn’t make her a coward. Her handling Sabrina showed that. This book left me with quite a few questions that hopefully will be answered in the last installment. For instance, do we really know what happened to Lucia or was it just a ploy? Also, I don’t completely trust Dawn’s parents. I feel as if they are up to something. Also, who tried to run Mel off the road? I think I may have an idea but could be wrong. Also, I don’t completely understand Dreka’s role. Why does she keep popping up? She wasn’t that significant in the first book and I don’t understand why she appeared in this one. Still a good read but there were a few things going on in this one that I didn’t quite understand.
Awwwww hell the f**k naw! What in the yeah you got me messed all the way up was that! I don’t know who pi**ed you off! But I’m going to need you to fix that expeditiously! I know I asked for book 2. But I didn’t ask for all that! Now my pressure up, my edges gone, my jaw on the floor, my heart is in my ass, and I still ain’t got no answers! Still a sensational job though!
This storyline is seriously lacking with no real ending in sight. It’s just pages and pages of mundane reading. The situation with Lucia was I guess suppose to be a plot twist, but then her car blew up and nothing else matter. No insight to the matter just an “oh well” moment. The author definitely should’ve waited to publish because she clearly didn’t put much thought into this book.
Now that all of the relationships are on track, someone is messing with the family.it has to be whomever was working with or speaking with Lucia or couos it be the kid from Mel school, Im.ao emthralled.in this series that I need to know whomever is behind messing.woth the French family!
I was.hapoy to see that the guys and young ladies have grown i to their own level of maturity!
This was the first time I’ve read this author’s work. And I must say reading book one and now book two I must say the work was great…. And although I understand the purpose of the cliffhangers I really wasn’t expecting it. But I definitely got a feeling of who the mastermind is behind the missing people. But all I’m going to say for now is “Where Book 3”!!!
Taniece… you da goat forreal sis! This book was sooooooo entertaining. The storyline never got boring. I love how all the characters have their own voice and writing style. Every time I read Rhythm, I felt like I heard him. The ending. THE ENDING! You know you love a trilogy so gon head and let me know when the finale is coming out!
Taniece did her big one this book had me biting my nails like what’s next. I loved how each character was written but baby pre came out that she’ll this book she won’t even playing about her man I’m looking forward to part 3 cause baby this ending has me in my feelings
This series has it all. Just when you think things are finally calming down for the French and Edwards families, BAM, another surprise. As the families expand, there's always trouble brewing. Like I said, you won't want to put it down once you start. The writing and story are perfect. It's my pleasure reading your books 🥰.
Wow! A lot was revealed in this installment! Nonna turned out to be a monster! I couldn't believe Sergio had impregnated Luciano's girlfriend and him and his mom tried to pass it off as his. Now Im trying to figure out eho could possibly be after them now! Valentino had gone missing. Whoever has him, they gonna be sorry, because he don't play!! Looking forward to the next installment!
The twists and turns hit turbo speed in this book. After spending Book 1 establishing he characters, this book is spent weaving a mysterious plot. We don't know who to suspect, well... I do...but I'll keep reading to prove myself right. This does get a little repetitive but it is still good.
Omggg!! Like wtf is really happening right now. I guess that was the calm before the storm? I wonder who took Valentino.. and Dawn🥺 I really can't believe all that just happened in ONE DAY!!! Im already crying because of the eerie feeling I have from the characters! Got my blood pressure wayyy to high for a book 😂🤣
This storyline is so good. Patiently and impatiently waiting for the 3rd installment. I pray that Dawn will be okay even though she got pew pewd in the neck. I hope all of the are going to be okay.
All hell done broke loose. There is an unknown enemy causing chaos and I don't even have a clue of who it could be. I hate that for Dawn, she didn't have nothing to do with nothing. I hope they find Valentino in time. I would who's laying at the door of the funeral home?💖💖
My mouth is wide open right now because of that ending. I'm loving this book and these characters. Taniece you always out do yourself. This is most definitely a must read. I cant wait to read part 3..
This whole story is frustrating. It's pages and pages of mundane, overly descriptive storytelling. The author then tries to pack a book worth of action into the last chapter. Very frustrating
I hate these cliffhangers. I hope Valentino and Dawn are okay. This is so crazy. All hell is about to break loose. I hope Sergio doesn’t have anything to do with everything going on. Part 3 me please!!!!
Now wait a minute what is going on I think it’s that noona cause why didn’t have a funeral for her even with all the chaos she caused or maybe it’s something I’m missing I can’t wait to see what happens next
Whew!!! The drama and betrayal!!! I really enjoyed seeing more of the couples. They’re obviously closely related but they lead such different lives and each relationship is in a different place. The endinggg?!?!?! Lawdddd
Ok. This book was a little slower than the first one. There’s a lot going on. I didn’t see this coming from Sergio. I’m sad about Dawn! Who is the body that was flipped over?
Oh, this reminds me of a good hood thriller. The brothers got an enemy that no one can find and that's scary. I wonder what Ms. Stephanie got going on. Let me move to the finale.
This book was messier than book 1 and I ate it up! I turning those pages into the early morning and finished when I got up. Taniece, baby, that cliffhanger got me screeeeamming!
I enjoy how this author writes her cray MMCs but a lot in this book was fluff and a lot focused on the young'in crew. Be prepared for prom, teen pregnancies, and college talk. The plot does thicken walking into the finale
