Kaia Kennedy is a single mom doing everything she can to turn Rose Grove’s diner into something solid for her and her kids. She doesn’t have time for regrets, but there’s one man she’ll never forget. Leo Jackson. Years ago, he was her best friend, her confidant, and for a while, something more. When he let her down at the worst possible moment, she walked away without looking back.
Leo “Judge” Jackson’s world tilts the moment he walks into the diner and comes face to face with the past he’s never been able to fix. Kaia was the one person who truly saw him, and he stayed silent when it mattered most. Now she’s back, still fierce, still furious, and still the only woman who feels like home.
With two cartels breathing down their necks and old secrets about to surface, Judge knows one thing for sure. If he wants a second chance, he’ll have to fight like hell to earn it.
Judge - Devil’s Rose MC Book Nine is a 200+page blend of humor, romance, and a touch of chaos. For 18+ audiences due to spice, violence, and torture. Featuring a spitting mad diner owner, a big quiet biker daddy, soccer field cat fights and kids that don’t know when to quit this has a guaranteed HEA. No cheating.
You need to read the previous book at least, there’s a lot of characters Honestly, this wasn’t for me, it’s weird when it’s supposed to be funny, I guess there’s a lot of scenes might be funny but I didn’t like them They have a lot to discuss and talk about but it never came… They never have a conversation about his behavior in high school, I think that was the whole point about a second chance romance… 🙄🤷🏽♀️🤦🏼♂️
Not romantic I will not continue with the next series I don’t know if it’s safe, they say they weren’t together in HS but his actions were disgusting and after she find him with OW he “left her for two days to cool it off “ but she left town with her dad, He really sucks and he’s not a good hero, not an alpha, quite pathetic, never ashamed of how much he left her down… grotesque, but the author masked all that with funny scenes and absurd conversations… Sorry
Cleo Browne has done it again with another unforgettable installment in her DRMC series. This time, we dive into the story of Judge and Kaia — two childhood best friends whose lives are torn apart by a sudden, life-altering event. Fifteen years later, their paths cross again, and what unfolds is a rollercoaster of emotion, laughter, and heart-pounding action.
Browne’s storytelling is as sharp and hilarious as ever. She has a gift for crafting characters that feel real and relatable, while still giving us the strong, protective alpha males we crave. Judge is no exception — loyal, fierce, and deeply layered. Kaia is equally compelling, and their dynamic is electric from start to finish.
The supporting cast is just as lovable and chaotic. I honestly can’t decide who I adore most — the girl gang, the littles, Pop, or Chewy. Each brings their own flavor of fun and madness to the story, making it impossible to put the book down. The antics this crew gets into are wild, heartwarming, and laugh-out-loud funny.
If you’re looking for a story that blends deep emotional connections with humor, action, and a whole lot of heart, this book is a must-read. Cleo Browne continues to deliver stories that stick with you long after the last page.
This book in Cleo Browne’s Devil’s Rose MC / Tombs Security overlaps with Marx's story. Judge and Kaia were best friends as kids until Judge messed things up and Kaia moved away. When Judge discovered Kaia was the new owner of the local dinner, had teenage twins, and was in danger from the cartels due to her history with Judge, he insisted she move to the Tombs' farm for safety.
This book is part of a series about the DRMC and Tomb Security and while there is an overarching story, there is a resolution to the immediate situation in this book and of course the standard HEA ending since it’s a romance novel. This book wasn’t as instant love/lust as the prior books, but things do still move fairly quickly. Judge realizes losing Kaia was the biggest mistake of his life and knows he needs to do everything he can to convince her and the twins that he's worthy of forgiveness.
This is a book/series I’ll read again for sure which puts it at 5/5 and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. There was a good mix of plot to spice with open door scenes that were pretty detailed, so I’d put it at about 3/5 on my spicy scale.
Judge and Kaia grew up together, besties from the moment they met. Then, senior year hit and Judge was an idiot. Kaia left town and he never heard from her again. Now she is standing in Rose Grove, the new owner of the diner and she is spitting mad. The intensity between these two is through the roof. The hurt, the secrets, the past mistakes put shadows in her eyes and she is scared to let Judge into her heart and life again. Judge cannot believe his eyes. Kaia disappeared and left him with nothing but regrets and loneliness. Now he has another chance, the opportunity to make things right. This was an absolutely glorious read! I didn't want to put it down so I ignored all my responsibilities and devoured it! So funny, so sweet, so epic! CB is an absolutely amazing author and I want to give her a tiara and a throne, she is just that awesome!
Another great book by this author! Judge and Kaia’s story was everything I hoped it would be—full of emotion, humor, and heart. Childhood best friends torn apart by a painful mistake, their reunion is both heart-wrenching and healing as they come to terms with what they lost and what they still mean to each other.
This author continues to blow me away with her wit—I’ve laughed out loud with every single couple in this series, and this book was no exception. The dialogue is sharp, the chemistry is undeniable, and the emotional depth is just spot on.
And Pops… oh, Pops. What a gem of a character. I already know I’ll miss him terribly when this series wraps up. He brought so much chaos and comedy to the story. I’m not ready to say goodbye to these characters, but I can’t wait to see what’s next!
I only discovered this series at the beginning of the year but I’m so glad I did because it fast became one of my favourites. The juxtaposition of having t0rtur3 and violence mixed in with comedy, found family, and spice.
The shenanigans this crew gets up to is so hilarious and ridiculous and I freaking love every minute of it. The banter, teasing and pranks from everyone is fantastic.
It also pleases me to no end that all the women come off looking like cinnamon rolls but could all easily unalive you haha. The women are just full of feminine rage and righteous anger and are definitely all more unhinged than the men.
I wish more people would read this series because I want to gush over it more often! It gives me Ruinous Lobe trilogy and Lights Out vibes but a lot funnier and with way more fun characters.
As always with this author, the story she gives us is phenomenal. Kaia and Judge were childhood friends—until he did what most teenage boys do and thought with the wrong brain. Years later, they cross paths again, both older, wiser, and carrying a raft of unresolved misunderstandings. And umm....Twins.
This book is a second chance romance of re-connection, healing, and—of course—plenty of making up...cough, cough 😍. There’s the usual shenanigans and mayhem that fans of a Cleo Browne book expect and have come to love, and it all adds up to another heartwarming, hilarious, and satisfying read. I'm so excited about this new chapter and can't wait to see where it goes next! Sniper, Sniper, Sniper (just saying 😂hint, hint)

LOVED!!!!! Seriously, I know it had to be such a pain to write this book in the way she did but it was sooooo good! Getting an insight into both Judge and Kaia was great. And, of course, getting more of the DRMC and their women!! I just love how no matter if they are in the girl gang or one of the kids; they have eachother’s backs. I feel like this book really shows how they can support and rally against those who want to cause any sort of harm towards someone considered family. Of course there are the moments of contention, drama and struggle but it’s all handled with awesome men and strong alpha females! Another amazing addition to this series and so excited for everything to come!
I loved this story. Second chance romance with a couple of kids in the mix what could be better! This series is so fun, wild and intense and and I can honestly say the unbelievable things the Girl gang gets up to led by Pops and Chewy are truly awesome. And you gotta ask, where in the Nora heck does this author come up with these things ... would love to see her google history! Judge and Kaia are great together. After f'ing up in highschool, Judge gets to correct his mistake and finally get his girl. Don't think that there isn't any action or drama in this relationship cause there definitely is amd so worth the read!!
Ah, Judge! So quiet and loyal. But still waters run deep.
Judge is knocked off-kilter when he discovers the family he didn't know he had. But now he needs to convince them to take another chance on him while protecting his family -- blood and brotherhood -- from the MC's enemies only to discover an enemy he didn't know existed.
Written with Cleo Browne's trademark mix of drama and humor and incredibly lovable family of mafia, MC, and civilians. What's to love about this book? EVERYTHING!!
What are the odds that a single mom with twin teenagers move to a town where her old childhood friend/boyfriend lives? If you have read the description of this book (I am sure you have), you know that answer. However, what you do not know is the why their childhood relationship broke down. Do they fix it, start a new, keep moving on?? What about the teenagers? Will they become part of the Devil's Rose MC club? I encourage to read this book to find out! It was such a fun and chaotically unhinged read. You won't regret it!
I would absolutely love see into the mind of Cleo to see where all these crazy great ideas come from.
This is a 2nd chance romance for Judge and Kaia, Judge messed up when they were younger but years later Kaia is back and so starts lots of action, craziness, laughs and Love.
This is hands down the best series I’ve read and I hope it never ends. If you love suspense, gummy gators, a wacky girl gang ran by an even wackier male pensioner and so many laughs you have to read this series.
Another fantastic read from Cleo Browne, featuring all the wacky characters from the Devil’s Rose MC, especially the women lol 😂 such crazy ladies. I absolutely loved Judge and Kaia’s story ❤️❤️❤️ it might be 14 years later but their bond is still strong and their lives can only get better together. A definite page turner and very entertaining. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤
Judge and Kaia were best friends until they weren't. Kaia disappears, and Judge knows it is his fault. Fast forward 15 years and bam there she is, Judge tries to talk to her but is shut down until danger comes to the DRMC and Kaia and her surprises are involved. join them on their journey through miscommunication and all the MC antics to find true love with the help of the Love Pres. Can't wait for the next one! Just read it!
Don't know how people love or like books on cheating and second chances, but this is basically that. Judge a waste of space, cowardy cheating turn and a mama who forgives and jumps into his bed so quickly that it's nothing short of being pathetic. Dnf because it's legitly making me feel like I am the one losing my self respect and worth. Should have put a TW for cheating, wouldn't have picked up the trash then.
Not your typical 2nd chance romance. Judge & Kaia were best friends growing up and into their teens until one night she walked in on Judge with someone else. That next day Kaia left town with a secret. 15 years Judge walks into a diner and is immediately banned by the owner, Kaia. Unfortunately trouble comes knocking on the MC’s door and Kaia and her kids are now targets so Judge pulls them into the compound for protection and that’s when Kaia’s secrets begin to unravel.
I love that every single book from this writer is different. Yes, it’s about the same characters but the storylines differ from character to character. Kai’s is one sassy take charge mama bear. Don’t come for her kids or friends or she will come for you. Then there is Judge, who made a stupid mistake as a teenager, but he is stepping up now.
If you haven't read the Devil's Rose MC books yet you need to rectify that! Im telling you Cleo Browne stories will have you laughing your a$$ off while also feeling stabby or at least wanting to punch stupid people lol Every time I read one of her books I say Im going to savor it then BAM!, I've read the whole book! Yes, you will get that absorbed into her characters & stories!
Oh my! I love Cleo’s characters. They make me laugh, cry and experience the story with them. Judge and Kaia’s love story is a fantastic second chance romance with a fierce mama who fits right into the girl gang. If I could give it more stars I would.
Cleo has done it again with another brilliant book. Judge and Kaia were friends then lovers then enemies and this could be their 2nd chance romance. A bit of danger from the cartels and the whole DRMC attending a kids soccer game what could possibly go wrong? This book like Cleo’s others with have you laughing until your sides hurt
I absolutely love these DRMC books and Judge and Kia’s story was just superb. Some of the stupid stuff we do as teenagers has consequences. In Judges case, two. There is so much humour amongst the seriousness, it’s a perfect balance.
As always this was a great book! I loved Judges and Kia’s story as well as the kids. It’s always great to come back and see how the DRMC is doing and I can’t wait for the next book.
3.5 star rating rounded down to 3 because Amazon doesn't do partial stars. I liked this book. I also like the sectioning off to a new chapter. And the drama with the other soccer moms was epic.
Judge's story was positively wonderful. I can't wait for the next book in this series. These characters are a hoot. You never know what they are going to do. The girl gang and the big little's antics are priceless.
I’ve read all the books in this series and find them all entertaining, the friendships and affiliations feel real, the dialogue and interactions resonate with real life possibilities, though over the top. Eagerly awaiting the next books in the series.
Another winner in this series. Good characters and storyline along with good twists and turns plus action and suspense. I am so happy that I found this author, love her books. Can't wait for the next one.
Judge (Leo) and Kaia have been friends since kindergarten. There was a bad scene and they've been apart for years. Kaia has secrets that put them in danger but the MC handles it.
Love Judge and Kaia! All the MC and their old ladies take Kaia in and make sure her and her kids know they’re family! Judge and Kaia second chance at love is a wild ride! Love all these characters in DRMC
So much good stuff, I don't know where to start. ☆☆☆☆☆ and then some. I love the DRMC and devour each and every book. I can't choose a fave character as they're all brilliant. Keep the books coming!
The kids are little "evil" geniuses and I can't wait to read more about what they get up to. Judge & Kai are an awesome couple and I loved their second chance romance.
