Salacity: The Nefarious Trilogy Book 1

“You are the most beautiful Vixen, especially when covered in blood.” – Alaric Mortem

Suppress, Conform, and Stay Silent.

Rules that I have lived by through the years or else my depraved desires would have gotten me sent to a psych ward long ago. I reside in a world formed from shades of black and gray along with my morals shoved into a confined box. I am chained to a mundane life, that is until someone unleashes me, Dr. Mortem.

I run free and yet I can’t help but wonder.

Did I trade one shackle for another?
From the dark corners of the mind comes a story that dares to blur the line between love and madness.

This provocative trilogy introduces readers to Sienna and Alaric—two souls bound by obsession, desire, and a refusal to conform to the world’s expectations. Sienna struggles with the weight of her desires, caught between shame and longing in a world that silences unconventional passions. Alaric Mortem, a respected psychologist with a deeply fractured soul, is as dangerous as he is devoted. He is a man of many masks—lover, liar, murderer—and yet, in Sienna, he finds something understanding.

Their story is not a conventional romance. It is raw, unsettling, and deeply intimate. It explores the silence we are taught to maintain around our desires, the fear of judgment, and the question of whether love can exist in the darkest places.

There are no rules to love here—only truth, obsession, and the haunting beauty of two people who find freedom in each other’s madness.

The story follows Sienna, whose parents died when she was just fourteen. After the tragedy, she began therapy, and more recently, she has been meeting with Dr. Alaric Mortem. During their sessions, Sienna confided in him about her belief that darkness holds a strange beauty and revealed her unconventional fantasies. She saw Dr. Mortem as an extraordinary psychologist—someone unlike anyone she had met before.

But while she was opening up to him about her deepest desires, Sienna had no idea he was hiding a darker truth. Soon, she would see another side of Alaric. He told her he wouldn’t kill her—but rather, he would keep her. Now, the question remains: can Sienna break free, or will she surrender to her own madness and let it intertwine with Alaric’s?

The writing is compelling and immersive. Readers who appreciate mature themes interwoven with psychological depth will find themselves drawn to this book. The characters are richly crafted, and the plot brims with originality. The dangerous games they play will keep you hooked until the very last page.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

This book was what I assume doing a speed line feels like. 🙂‍↔️🥰💀

I need book two so down bad!!!

You have Sienna who’s just not like other girls - in the macabre, cooler kind of way. And but of course, she’s trying be responsible and see a therapist to help her. She scares herself by the fantasies and unconventional vices. Little does she know, her therapist already knows. How does he know? Because he’s equally, just as dark if not darker.

Joker and Harleen Quinzell vibes! Which I loved so much. The MMC Alaric, is OFF his rockers in the how the hell do you have a medical license kind of way??

Ah. Gushing. I need a SE of this. ASAP.

Our minds brought us here

My mind is questionable, just like our beautiful character. But it’s not bad. I loved this book more than any book I’ve ever read. And it takes a lot for me to get involved in any book. I shock myself sometimes and this was one of those times. I look forward to the next book. I would recommend this to many because I know there are people like us that need this. LOVE LOVE LOVE. I would write more but I wouldn’t shut up.

5 reviews? wow, idk how I even found this.

this book was good but only if you can become cool about a lot of stuff very quickly. one of the most dark romances I've read lately. dark romance girlies love mafia books but those arent really dark let's be honest. they're almost always some dubious beginnings and then kinda tame. but this is dark, its psychological warfare and she doesnt even realize it's happening. consent is never discussed and the MMC wouldn't care anyway.

this is one of those books where I enjoyed it but I wouldn't want men to know we enjoy it because they will use it as permission. they dont understand the concept

It’s crazy how therapy works isn’t it? Talk about, talk through it, action & understand…

This takes that to a whole new level of spicy you need to be ready for. It’s realistic with how some minds approach topics and what many hide when it comes to desire. It makes you think twice about your own opinion on topics and actions.

I normally don’t dip into dark romance too often because how it’s often written. This pulls you in without the making you feel like you’re reading consistent vulgarity/foul-language or blunt cut descriptions. It’s spicy and dark in all the right ways. I can’t wait to read the next book that last chapter has me itching for more.
