Looking forward to more from this author

This story is a prime example of how you should NOT play with people’s feelings, as you truly never know their mental state. I truly enjoyed every moment of it! Nicole was simply looking for true love, yet she has to kiss too many frogs before finding her Prince Charming! The catch you ask? Crossing Nicole has deadly consequences.

When Nicole meets detective Eric Robinson, her emotions are in a whirlwind as he is investigating a case that she is tied too. As their feelings grow & his investigation goes underway, Nicole is wondering can she trust him or is he using her to solve this case.

I truly enjoyed Talese Nicole’s writing style & looking forward to reading more from her in the future. She definitely left this open for a part 2, fingers crossed that it happens. If you enjoy thrillers with female serial kill3rs, forbidden love and a well written story, this one’s for you.

Are we going to graze over that ending because I need more! This was an excellent read, fast paced, and enticing. I felt for Nicole; she had a lot of trauma and unresolved daddy issues, that led to her inability to handle rejection. I do think Eric was the closest thing to true love, and who knows maybe he will be able to heal her heart .. good read.

This book was absolutely EVERYTHING and then some! I just pulled an all-nighter because I literally couldn't put it down! The characters are absolutely unforgettable and totally pull you into their world! At the heart of it all is Nicole, a woman yearning for what many desire—a beautiful, true, unconditional love. Unfortunately, she steps outside the healthy boundaries that this love should have. Talese Nicole absolutely slayed with A Beautiful Disaster, leaving me in awe and utterly sleep-deprived! My mind is blown!

Be Careful

This is a cautionary tale: don’t play with others emotions. Nicole was a kind, gentle soul, until pushed. Do I agree with her problem solving skills? No, lol! But her reactions made for a great, page-turning experience. Eric was a good man, just what Nicole needed, but….. I won’t tell too much. This is a must read for any psychological thriller lover who appreciates love mixed with tragedy.

I think this is one of the best books I've read all year. No exaggeration. This was perfect. I have absolutely nothing bad to say. This was a well-deserved 5 stars for a new author. Talese you are talented and I'm excited to follow your career. You are a breath of fresh air!!!

This book was amazing. This storyline could've kept going and going and I would've happily kept reading. You crafted this story so well. And I know it must've been difficult to get into the mind of a psychopath yet humanise them. But you did it!!! Nicole was a piece of work. I was on the edge of my seat as I tried to figure out what would happen next. And, Eric? I loved how he was so in love that he was blinded. Kendrick lightened the mood and I appreciated the balance he brought to this dark tale.

The ending though?? Please tell me there's another part to this series? Tell me it's not a standalone lol Because I have so many questions. That was a great cliff hanger. But at the same time it could be an open ending too.

Either way I thoroughly enjoyed this!!! There's so much more I could say but I don't want to ruin it for others!! Just read it!!!

Don’t play with people’s emotions.

What a great debut!
I feel like Nicole was relatable because I think a lot of women felt the things she did. She just acted on them.
I liked Eric but… I won’t give anything away. Just read the story if you’re into physiological thrillers.

Whew, Nicole is a beautiful kind of crazy, and I loved every minute of it. Nicole seems sweet and kind, running her own business and just looking for true love. But what happens if you cross her or play with her emotions? Then there’s Eric, a career-driven detective who’s never made time for love until Nicole. Their connection is instant, but in this dark, twisted world, feelings can be fatal.

Talese Nicole delivers a psychological thriller full of suspense, mind games, and gasp-worthy moments. If you love stories that blur the line between love and obsession, this is one to add to your TBR.

Thank you, Talese Nicole, for providing me with an ebook in exchange for my honest review.

When I read anthologies, I always imagine my favorite stories written as novels and I am so glad Talese expanded A Beautiful Disaster. This story had my mind twisted toward the end… I just knew this story would end differently… but I was wrong! The ending was farrrr more crazy than I could’ve even imagined! I highly recommend this one for lovers of psychological thrillers.

Based on the epilogue, does that mean we’re getting a part two?👀

I love a good thriller with romance.
This is a prime example why you shouldn’t play with people feelings. I’m gonna always stick beside a unhinged FMC. It’s all fun and games until bodies come up missing. This is my first read from this author, and I believe her debut novel…giiirl, she came out swinging!! This novel was fast paced, romantic, and chaotic. I had everything figure out but that didn’t take away the thrill of enjoying the story. After that ending i’m going to put my request in for a book #2, please and thank you!!!

okay first things first, i haven’t relate to a fmc in awhile..unfortunately i can relate to Ms.Nicole Asberry, i was always the second choice when it came to men..been through alottttt when i was in high school/middle school—and i can say..that really messes with someone head, it makes you feel all type of things..so i get why Nicole acted like that. was it really nicole fault? no tbh, she didn’t have to go through that..but nb deserves to die, the men should’ve communicated better..and stop cheating on their partners, the men wouldn’t even knew Nicole if they would’ve just left her alone. i loved the backstory of the FMC being a plant shop owner, it really made it an unhinge storyline😭 just imagine you walking into a plant shop, and there’s bodies in plants. wow, and i couldn’t lie i was scared for eric..i didn’t want him being involved with Nicole, i didn’t know what to expect..but towards the ending my face never changed from ‘😧’ this was my first book by this author, and i was definitely impressed!

Beautiful Disaster

This one here!!!! If this is your first book, baby you coming out SWANGIN’!!! Here’s why: there’s drama, suspense, mystery, it’s messy with a pinch of spice! You covered a topic that most people deal with daily! Ms. Nicole was unstable & yes she was in therapy but she didn’t receive it all well in my book! Now her therapist, idk how I feel about her…Mr. Eric, I love his confused self. Here he is haven’t FULLY figured out his life which is why he’s blind to a point even tho his blindness wasn’t all his fault. I wanna say more but if anyone reads this they must take this journey I took! You have a new reader in me for sure!

WOW!

Whew! These men thought they were walking away freely but received a rude awakening. Nicole simply didn’t want to end up alone- “I just want someone to choose me. someone to stay.” But WOMAN… AT WHAT COST!! I still can’t grasps if she was delusional and thought who she was with each man was more than what it really was because the way she flipped with each one… left me speechless. All I know is, be mindful of the words you say! You never know the impact of them.” Baby as Eric stated- Nicole was calculated & dangerous. The way this book ended… I NEED MORE ASAP!

Is it selfish to want a part 2? QTNA

I was hooked from beginning to end. Lots of twists and turns. I was low-key rooting for Nicole while giving her a big side eye to because babeeee...my girl was a lil off her rocker. (Ok maybe way more than a little) That ending makes me selfishly want a part 2

I went into this one completely blind, and whew… I was not ready. All imma say Ms Talese girl you are now one of my favorite thriller authors bc maam you took me on a ride for this one. I love a good unhinged FMC, she may seem all meek and mild but bayyybayy. It’s giving love, betrayal, and just enough chaos to keep you glued to the pages. And the ending!!! Girl when the sequel coming out?!!

Looking forward to see more from the author! A crazy unhinged FMC is going to take the cake for me every single time. I feel the story started out great and set the tone for me. But along the way I started to figure out a-lot of the moving pieces before the reveal which took away from the shock value you look for in a thriller. The backstory of the FMC being a plant shop owner really added to the unhinge of the story line. It was a solid plot and the characters were great I just needed a little bit more Shock and thrill for my personal taste. Still a Solid Read

"I thought I could get through to her. I thought love could have been enough to fix whatever darkness lived in her. But she wasn’t just wounded. She was calculated, dangerous. I needed to be the one to end this."

This story was completely unhinged, but in a I can't wait to read book II way. Nicole, a hurt woman let down be all the men she's encountered doesn't let them get away with it. The saying, "when a women's fed up!!!" Goes hand to hand here. Enter's Detective Eric who falls deep, despite his reservations about Nicole. If you enjoy a good unhinged tale read this one you will not be disappointed!!!
