Christian Focus Publications sent me a copy of "What Has Christianity Ever Done for Scotland?" by Paul James-Griffiths in exchange for an honest review.
What has Christianity ever done for Scotland? As it turns out, quite a lot. This book is basically a spiritual biography of Scotland, the motherland of the Presbyterian tradition. it isn't strictly chronological. Each of the fourteen chapters centers on a contribution of Christianity to Scotland and then traces out the history of each topic. It's concise and very well done. All of this leads to the final chapter, which appeals for Scotland to return to Christ. This an excellent book, well worth the read!
