Their story isn’t a simple romance; it is a testament to the transformative power of love, the resilience of the human spirit, and the enduring strength of the human bond.
The whispers of the ancient magic still echoed through the streets, a reminder of the power that had shaped their lives, but now those whispers were not a source of fear, but a challenge, an invitation to continue the dance of light and shadow, of desire and devotion, a testament to the enduring power of love in a world forever changed.
They were the guardians of Darnassea, the keepers of its secrets, the protectors of its magic.
Their future held both peril and promise, but they were ready?
Reine Ruin is a 30-year-old single mama of a young boy who is cyber-schooled. Currently in her second year of college for a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology.
In her free time she is either reading a Dark Romance (the darker the better), watching a movie or TV show.
Reine listens to all kinds of music she doesn't care what decade or genre it is from.
If I could describe this book, it would be using the words mysterious and awakening. I haven’t read a book like this before. It’s as if dark poetry had monologue in it between people.
The guys have a fierce protection over Blakely and an attraction that grows from deep within their bones. The Mayor, well he’s a sack of shit.
The vibe of this book is dark and dreary…always on edge knowing the other shoe is about to drop. Sensing the magic…power…chaos just beneath the surface…believing in hope again…finding inner strength… I would definitely recommend this one.
Rating: 4.5 This was a little different from what I have read from Reine but it was good. It had so much going on! Some parts were a little emotional. Not sure who my favorite is, I kind of like all of them. The characters were interesting!
Another amazing book by this amazing author! This book was definitely different from the last book I read by her, but I still loved every single minute of it!!!
I would like to give this a 3.5 rating and it is not anything negative on this book or the author. I have read other books from this author that are good reads. The only reasons I rated it like that is, I don't read fantasy books, therefore it is hard for me to grasp it the same way I might read a different genre. There were parts that were confusing to me but again its probably just me. There were repetitive phrases or overuse of certain words but overall a good book. If fantasy is your type of book, definitely give this a go.
Its not a bad book just some of the phrases was being repeated muitple times, it was emotional but I like emotional books. The characters were interesting. Still a decent read.
