Read this. Do it now. 🖤

Y’all… I can’t even. 🖤🐿️

I usually steer clear of vampire novels because let’s be real, most of them feel like the same recycled story. But oh my lord… this one? Easily the best I’ve read in a long while.

The descriptions were fire (literally highlighted all over my Kindle). It’s been a minute since the writing felt that vivid and really elevated a story for me.

The pacing sat in that perfect pocket—where you just lean back and go, “Yeah, this is f***ing good.”

Riku’s evolution? Thank you. A phenomenal character arc.

Plus the cute, awkward moments sprinkled in were great.

Some tiny callouts:
• Quotes by different characters sometimes ended up in the same paragraph, which got confusing.
• Scene splits, while marked, could feel abrupt—I wanted some of them to stretch longer.

But honestly? I don’t even care. The story wasn’t predictable, and it even surprised me a couple of times (which does not happen often).

Incredible character building. Vivid writing. Solid pacing.
Just read this. Please. That’s all. 🖤

This was actually really good! The premise might sound like it leans on familiar tropes — a vampire hunter’s daughter caught between two very different men, one human and one vampire — but it was done in such a fresh way that it completely hooked me.

Ino’s fight isn’t only against the supernatural; she’s confronting her deepest fears, the burden of her family’s legacy, and the pull of two impossible choices: her childhood friend Kai, who’s slowly slipping into vampirism, and the mysterious pureblood Riku. The tension between them added so much to the story, and every choice felt loaded with emotion and danger.

The world-building was solid and gave enough detail without dragging down the pacing. The story balances action, emotion, and just enough mystery to keep you flipping pages, and I never felt like it slowed too much.

Overall, Poison Moth surprised me in the best way. It’s full of the tropes I adore, but with a unique spin that made it feel fresh. Definitely one I’d recommend if you like paranormal romance with danger, heart, and a touch of darkness.

Thrilling dark fantasy!

I thoroughly enjoyed the read, which is an emotionally charged supernatural mystery that delves into the complexities of love and personal struggles. The protagonist navigates a love triangle while grappling with internal conflicts. The Korean setting introduces a distinctive element to the vampire genre, adding depth and intrigue to the narrative. If you appreciate a gripping urban fantasy with a compelling heroine and unexpected plot twists, “Poison Moth” will be a compelling read for you.

A Thrilling, Emotional Ride That Left Me Wanting More! 🦇✨

Poison Moth by J.M. Cervantez is a captivating blend of supernatural suspense, emotional depth, and a coming-of-age story that truly stands out in the crowded vampire genre. From the very first page, I was drawn into Ino’s world—a college student desperate for normalcy but pulled back into the shadowy, dangerous world of vampires and hunters she thought she’d escaped.

What really sets this book apart is the rich emotional conflict at its core. Ino isn’t just fighting external monsters; she’s battling her own fears, her family legacy, and her feelings for two very different yet equally compelling figures: Kai, her childhood friend slowly succumbing to vampirism, and Riku, the enigmatic pureblood who haunts her thoughts. The author does a fantastic job of showing how the supernatural war isn’t just about blood and power—it’s about love, loyalty, and making impossible choices. 💔🩸

The world-building is vivid and immersive. The contrast between the familiar college campus and the dark, dangerous streets of Seoul creates an atmospheric tension that keeps the pages turning. I loved the infusion of Korean cultural elements, which made the setting feel fresh and authentic—a welcome change from the typical Western vampire stories. 🌆🦇

My only wish is that the story had been longer. The pacing was well-balanced, but the plot and characters felt like they were just scratching the surface of a much bigger, more complex world. I found myself craving deeper exploration of the vampire lore, the political conflicts between hunter and vampire factions, and more time to develop the intense relationships at play. It’s a testament to Cervantez’s storytelling that I’m eagerly looking forward to the sequel. 📖🔥

If you enjoy urban fantasy with strong, morally complex heroines, heart-wrenching stakes, and a dash of slow-burn romance, Poison Moth is a must-read. It’s perfect for fans of The Vampire Diaries, Twilight, or even Shadowhunters—but with a unique voice and cultural twist all its own.

Overall, Poison Moth delivers an emotionally charged, thrilling experience that’s both familiar and refreshingly original. I can’t wait to see where Ino’s journey takes us next! 🌙🖤
