Elysia Wages is a contemporary romance author from Oklahoma. She creates stories filled with angst, relatable characters, heartfelt connections, comedy, spice, and book boyfriends that will have you downright swooning. Let's not forget about the pages that will leave you wanting more and more.
When she's not writing, Elysia enjoys curling up with a coffee and a spicy romance novel, spending time with her family, or vacationing on various beaches.
Wow. This book had me hanging onto every single freaking word from page one. The way I absolutely adore Hannah needs to be studied. She is the definition of a top-tier, badass FMC—strong, independent, and more than capable of standing on her own beside the MMC. And if you know me, you know a powerful queen who doesn’t need saving is always going to have my heart.
Sean Mac spent a lot of time trying to repair the damage he caused, but when he finally comes back, he’s met with a completely transformed Hannah. And honestly? The way he embraces every version of her, loves her through it all, and accepts the woman she became… yeah, consider me officially a Sean Mac fan.
The love. The angst. The tension between these two is everything. Elysia has a way of pulling you so deeply into her stories that you lose all sense of time, only to reach the last page and immediately demand more.
Final verdict: Hannah is a queen, Sean Mac redeemed himself, and my emotional stability has once again been sacrificed at the altar of a fictional couple.
I absolutely loved Fall for Me by Elysia Wages! From the moment I started Hannah and Sean’s story, I couldn’t put it down.
Sean and Hannah’s relationship was beautifully written, and I loved watching their connection grow. Hannah faces heartbreaking challenges, but Sean never wavers. He stands by her through every step of her journey, proving that even in the face of fear, loss, and uncertainty, there is still hope for a beautiful future.
One of my favorite parts of the book was all of the adventures Hannah took Sean on. Their banter was fun, heartfelt, and had me smiling throughout the story. Sean’s unwavering support during Hannah’s breast cancer journey and surgery was incredibly touching, and it showed what true love and partnership look like.
The friendships woven throughout the story added so much warmth and depth, making the world feel real and full of people you can’t help but care about.
This book had the perfect balance of emotion, romance, humor, and heart. I was invested from beginning to end, and I loved every minute of it. If you’re looking for a heartfelt romance with unforgettable characters and a hero who will completely steal your heart, Fall for Me is a must-read. I highly recommend it!
If you haven’t started this series yet, consider this your sign to drop everything and pick it up immediately!
Elysia Wages completely delivers in this absolute masterpiece of a hockey romance. It has the perfect formula: a delightfully broody main character who will have you melting, and a badass female main character who stands entirely on her own two feet.
What makes this book so fantastic is how effortlessly Elysia blends deep, heartbreaking emotion with pure fun and undeniable romantic chemistry. You will laugh, you will be emotional, and you will immediately be begging for the next book the second you hit the final page.
OMG I LOVE this book and the characters!! My new book boyfriend is Mac Daddy (my nickname for the MMC). The story of Hannah and Sean Mackenzie is so heartwarming, raw and real. This hockey romance will have you all in the feels. So many raw moments with the FMC, Hannah, that will have so many relatable moments for all women. I laughed and sobbed uncontrollably.
The writing is and the flow of the story line are perfect and the plot will have you wanting MORE! I did not want this book to end. Thank you Elysia Wages for allowing me to arc read for you and give my honest review. I already need the next book.
I also can’t forget the “SPREADER”!! Gasp!! Ifykyk wink wink.
LOVE LOVE LOVE. This book had me in my feels. I cried and laughed. Granny is my spirit animal when I grow up. The plot twist when granny comes in, just makes this book.
Oh my gosh!! Talk about incredible!! These books just keep getting better and better as the series progresses. I can’t even tell you how funny, sad, emotional, and heartwarming this book was. Hannah and Sean’s story was so deep and emotional, I truly did not expect any of what happened in this book. Hannah is so incredibly strong and I found everything about her so inspiring. But all of the fmc’s in this series have been headstrong and empowering women! The found family of this series truly needs to be studied because it’s amazing. I cannot get over all the cameos from the other couples and scenes from earlier books. I was laughing my head off the whole book and still ended up crying. Lowkey thinking about a reread of this still growing series, and I’m SO EXCITED FOR BOOK 4!! Carter, I love you but Sean Mac took top spot, and that’s not safe considering what’s to come…🤭🤣
I have never connected with a character in a book more than Hannah. Although our situations were different they were very similar. It felt good knowing feelings I had once felt were laid out in a book and someone else has felt them (even if it was a fictional character). Elysia knows how to bring all the spice to her series and Sean Mac knows how to treat his woman! Granny was a surprise character that I fell in love with, she was hilarious. Aiden pissed me off multiple times and he has a lot of explaining to do in the next book! There was a lot of growth to me between the FMC and MMC throughout Fall For Me. Although I think Sean did a lot of healing and growing off the pages you can still see it!
Another great book in the NY Blaze Hockey Series! Definitely recommend!
Elysia Wages does it again! She takes you through all the emotions. Love, anger, sadness, laughter, spice-all perfectly balanced. The way she pulls you in all the directions to such an extreme and makes you feel each one so strongly is amazing. You will laugh hard, cry hard. At this point I don’t think she can write a bad book.
This is book 3 of the New York Blaze Hockey series, following Sean Mac and Hannah. With each book, I think I can’t love the characters more than the last… don’t ask me to choose, I don’t think I can.
I’m truly in awe and cannot find the right words to describe Elysia’s writing. You just have to experience it for yourself. I’m not even a sports romance girly but these are in my top tier!
When I say I firmly believed I was Team Carter, I meant it.
…
That is, until Sean Mac showed up and basically said, hold my beer.
I don’t think I’ve ever swooned so hard in my life. Like, hello? Sir, how dare you make me drool at 2 a.m.? I’m supposed to be sleeping, not dreaming about a fictional man with a dangerous tongue and an even more dangerous amount of charm.
I loooovvveeedddd Hannah! The mental and emotional journey she goes through honestly had me turning into a blubbering mess. I loved the chemistry and banter between the characters, and the fun, comedic cameos from past couples and beloved characters made this book even more enjoyable. I also loved how Elysia Wages was able to weave cultural aspects of Sean’s character into the story so naturally.
As a fellow Spanish speaker, I cannot begin to express the number of times I squealed whenever he busted out the Spanish. I got the opportunity to swoon in both languages, which is honestly unfair.
This book may have just worked its way up to becoming my favorite in the series.
It was fun, heartfelt, full of trauma, and packed with character growth from both the FMC and MMC. The journey they go through to reach their happily ever after was beyond rewarding.
Elysia Wages, ma’am—whatever you’re putting into these books? Yeah…
I’m going to need more of it.
At this point, I fully expect your entire catalog to move into my head permanently and join the never-ending rotation of books I think about at random hours of the day.
There are so many emotions. If there is one thing Elysia Wages knows how to do its make you go through every emotion possible. One minute I'm absolutely devastated, the next I'm laughing.
This is a story unlike any I've read. Hannah goes through so much during this book. She is probably one of the strongest characters I've ever read. Finding herself throughout this book was absolutely refreshing.
Sean may not be perfect but he is absolutely perfect for Hannah. He is there every step of the way. He has his issues and he grows alongside Hannah to get better and love her in every way possible.
Hockey? ✅ Compelling plots? ✅ A sassy granny? ✅ Epically hot men who are obsessed with their women? ✅✅✅
Rating: 5 ⭐️ Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Sean and Hannah are like fire and gasoline. Passionate, ignitable and bound to explode?
Hannah is on a journey of self discovery after finding out her life plans are altering in a life changing fashion. She’s fierce, reckless and fearless.
Can Sean win Hannah back after making the worst mistake of his life?
Hannah and Sean hooked me from chapter 1. Hannah is one of the strongest FMC’s I’ve ever read! Sean loves her so fiercely that it makes my heart ache! The way their story unfolds may have been a little out of the ordinary for most but I loved it.
Each book in this series makes me love the characters even more. I never want to leave the Blaze franchise 😍
If you have not read book 1 & 2 go and read it. Absolutely worth it.
This book hit home for me. Having gone through some of the things the FMC had to go through I could 1000% relate. And yes the feeling and emotions in this book is what a woman, or to say I went through.
Book 1 was good, book 2 was even better but this one I wanna give at least 7 Stars or more.
