Isaac Logan is the sweetest Logan of them all.
I don’t know if I can even put Into words how much I enjoyed Resisting Isaac but I’ll try.
My lawd does this book start with one hell of a BANG.
Resisting Isaac is book 2 of the Triple Creek Ranch series and one of my highly anticipated release reads. I was constantly checking the release date because I was so excited to read Isaac’s story.
And boy did it deliver!
Isaac is a ladies man, he is all humour, smooth moves and could talk the panties off a bull.
Elena Ortega is trying to prove to herself and other little girls like here that they can make something of themselves. They can succeed and to chase their dreams. Not to give up but to grab the bull by its horns and ride it until it can’t get up any more.
Elena and Isaac meet in a bar. She’s waiting for her hotel room to be ready and he’s looking to blow off some steam from working the land all day. A couple of drinks and a bet about who could last the longest on a mechanical bull is just the beginning.
These two are absolutely fire, passion, vulnerability and acceptance all rolled into combustible chemistry.
The way these two tried to avoid and not give into temptation whilst working together, day in and day out is baffling. Although they nearly did multiple times but contracts were signed, family and careers were riding on them not to give in. But they are only human.
I loved Elena. She fierce, determined, strong and sassy. She’s all about her independence and not giving up even when she’s struggling.
Isaac is an absolute book boyfriend. He is supportive, a damn good sense of humour and goofy, throw in the dominant side of him and geez, I need to fan myself.
I adored their connection. I love how Elena became soft and melted into Isaac, her vulnerability with him is everything. I also liked how she always seeks him out with her eyes and felt more confident with him. Isaac is very much the same with Elena but where she softens and melts, he’s strong holds on with both hands. He reminds her to never make herself smaller to make other people around her to be more comfortable, he supports her in every way and is honoured to just be in her space.
They are so compatible and meant for each other. The chemistry is palpable.
Elena and Isaac and all of their sexual tension is hard to put down. I kept telling myself ‘just one more chapter and then I’ll put it down’ every time I needed to go to sleep, do housework or live my life. All I wanted to do is read Resisting Isaac and nothing else but also wanted this book to last forever.
I was so surprised when this book took a little bit of a darker turn but it was brilliant. It made me desperate to know what would happen next or how it would be handled. It just drew me even more into the Triple Creek Ranch world.
I absolutely loved this book and enjoyed it immensely. I knew that Isaac’s story would be a whole lot spicer than Wyatt and Ivy’s story and it did not disappoint. It was spicy and one hell of an introduction to the characters - I was here for it!
Let’s be honest, I ate it up. The characters, the plot, the growth and the way it was written? Absolute perfection.
And the suspense of the mystery surrounding Senior Logan’s death is slowly getting more complicated but unravelling. I’m on the edge of my seat seeing how that turns out.
Caisey Quinn can do no wrong with her writing. She delivers one captivating read to another. She’s definitely become a favourite author of mine.
I cannot wait to read Caleb’s story and no I didn’t read the sneak peak of his book. I want no spoilers.

Well damn, this book started off with an absolute hiss and a roar with the hot & sexy cowboy and actress cranking up the heat. Did someone say reins are a must in the bedroom? Lets just say these two certainly didn't hold back with all the things they like 😉
But then we are quickly moved into what turns out to be a complicated story between Isaac & Elena. Forced proximity but no touching due to contractual obligations, turns to unexpected pregnancy, turns to a big ole suspense element to round out the end of the book. Basically you never knew what was going to happen next. And along the way, Isaac & Elena were able to build this relationship where she was able to trust in another and he couldn't see his life without her. Their chemistry was off the charts and that quickly became obvious to most people around them. Even the dogs accepted her and tried herding them together.
Isaac is that classic, happy, funny, golden-retriever guy that feels the weight of being the second brother - the fear of only ever been seen as the joker and never the serious one. Although I love that side of him, I also loved the way he completely flipped the way he normally is in this book. He was present, supportive and such a comfort to Elena the whole way through this book. He gave off mega Daddy energy as soon as he found out he was going to be a Dad and only really cared for Elena and the babies health and happiness.
Elena was the spitfire to Isaacs sunshine. She was head-strong and independant and struggled to let new people in. But somehow she found it easier to be herself in Isaac's presence. After always taking care of herself, she was finally able to lean on someone else. She is a hard worker and works extra hard to be that role model others can look up to. Especially those in her community that have been through similar upbringings.
I love that in some way or another, Caisey manages to connect these stories back to elements that happened in the previous book. The ongoing storyline surrounding their Dads death and the further we dive into that in each book really does add an extra element. Although its not a massive topic of conversation in each book, whenever it is mentioned, it definitely captures my attention when new information is revealed.
And now with the big moment with Caleb, I am definitely excited to see what will come from his book next.
This book was definitely an enjoyable read. There were a few moments that had me squealing over words that were said, laughing and smiling and then the suspense at the end definitely had me concerned for all those involved. But I loved seeing the way their story panned out throughout this book. Here's hoping we see a bit more of them in the next books. Overall this one was a 4.5 ⭐️ read for me.

Really? Really? Holy hot cowboy. I did not expect Isaac Logan to surpass my love for Wyatt Logan, but OMG! This man was made to be a boyfriend, husband, father.... Specifically for Elena.
Isaac's story about Lucky, the horse, made me understand him more. Why he was a playboy bachellor.
I hope we eventually get Noag, Elijah and Liam's stories. As well as Beau and Brett's and we also need Eli and Willow's. Sutton too!
I was so worried about how Ivy and Wyatt would take the news of Elena's pregnancy. But of course, Ivy is graceful as always. But I can't wait for them to become parents!
What happened at the Peterson's Ranch? I hope we find out one day. I have a feeling it has something to do with Diego and what happened to Jack Logan.
I loved how Isaac stood up to Diego and Elena's mom at their "wedding." I wish there would have been some kind of heart to heart between Elena and her mom and Elena and her dad. I feel like we needed that closure/healing.
Let's not forget, those vows! OMG. those were not vows of people who were faking it.
I wish Isaac's family would have been there at the NM wedding, but they are having their own in Montana so...
I loved that Ivy was going to plan the "fake" wedding as a real one. God, she is just such a good person.
Diego is a certified creep. Survellience photos of the Logans. Eww! I do wish we knew the extent of his charges though.
I love how observant Isaac is. He knows when something is off with Elena.
And OMG! Caleb?! What happened to him. I can't wait for his story. I hope it's a bosses daughter situation.

I absolutely love this series!!! But you know I do love my cowboy romances. I was so excited for Isaac’s story after his appearances in Tempting Wyatt, which by the way, you need to read!
Reformed playboy, forbidden romance, surprise pregnancy…you can’t tell me that doesn’t already pique your interest. Elena is an up and coming actress and is filming a tv show on the family ranch. Isaac, who can never resist a good time, has been formally (and legally) warned to keep his paws to himself….but let’s be real here. After one night, our cowboy is a smitten kitten. And then of course, let’s throw a wrench in an already compromising situation and now there’s an even bigger secret.
Listen these are the kind of fairytales I go for…an untamed MMC who changes his ways after one interaction with the FMC. I’ll fall for it everytime. Also, Isaac is freaking hilarious. He had me cracking up in book 1 and again in book 2. I loved the dynamic between these 2 because Isaac had finally met his match and she was not making it easy for him. The banter, the pining, the flirting….its adorable.
Ok, the only reason I made this 4/5 stars is just because the ending felt a little rushed. We get to 80% and there is a huge plot twist that is super action packed. I loved this storyline and I loved the concept, but I just wish it had been more throughout the story than just the ending. Nothing bad but just an honest review!

Review: I really enjoyed this book! This story follows Isaac and Elena. Elena and Isaac have a one night stand. The next day Elena shows up to triple creek ranch where show is on is shooting. She see the guy from the one night stand, Isaac, who is training the cast to ride horse and who to be cowboys/cowgirls. I loved the storyline. I really enjoyed the character development. I loved Elena and Ivy’s friendship. I was not expecting the plot twist at the end. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.I really enjoyed the relationship development in this book. I really enjoyed Isaac and Wyatts sibling relationship. I really enjoyed the banter between Isaac and Elena.

Love it
I'm so excited to be back at Triple creek Ranch to discover Isaac and Elena's love story. This series is quickly becoming a favorite and the Logan family feels like visiting a good friend.
Isaac is truly the sweetest cowboy. (Well....outside of the bedroom anyway ;) ) And Elena is smart, witty and holds her own. The suspense plot adds a great dimension to the story, especiallyat the end. These two will pull at your heartstrings, make you want a pair of favorite reins of your own, and laugh a lot.
Also....where can I find a guard donkey? Because everyone needs a Jasper.

Isaac is truly the sweetest cowboy. (Well....outside of the bedroom anyway ;) ) And Elena is smart, witty and holds her own. The suspense plot adds a great dimension to the story, especiallyat the end. These two will pull at your heartstrings, make you want a pair of favorite reins of your own, and laugh a lot.
Also....where can I find a guard donkey? Because everyone needs a Jasper.

Really enjoyed book 2, these characters are very likeable, both books I felt were rushed at the end, but maybe thats because I didn’t want them to end lol
There is an ongoing back story which adds suspense, would like for it to be a little more involved in the storyline but overall loving this series!

Resisting Isaac by Caisey Quinn is the second book in the Triple Creek Ranch series, featuring the Logan family. This time it's Isaac's turn to find himself true love and even more than that. It has forced proximity, accidental pregnancy and a forbidden workplace romance. Some of my favorite tropes!
Isaac Logan is charismatic, works hard, is a total flirt and has a strict one night only rule. Enter Elena Ortega: bold, irresistible, and the reason he might abandon the one rule he swore by. But then he discovers his fiery one-night stand is the one woman off-limits. Having to work closely together might be torture for them but, but delicious torture at that.
I was really happy to return to Triple Creek Ranch and reading again about the characters that I fell in love with in the first book. Reading this book, you just can't help but adore Isaac and Elena together. They had the chemistry, the fun banter, the emotional connection. Sparks were flying right from the moment they met. I liked how while their story was quite different from Ivy and Wyatt's in the first book but there were still the cowboy and ranch vibes that I loved so much.
I also enjoyed the appearances of the other characters, especially Ivy and Wyatt, but also the rest of Isaac's family. And I can't wait to get to know them more in any of the following books. The only reason it wasn't a full on 5 star read was that I enjoyed the first book a little bit more since Wyatt remains my favorite Logan so far. But that doesn't take away how much I enjoyed Isaac and Elena's story as well.

I can’t get enough of the Logan family!! Elena and Isaac are just as perfect as Ivy and Wyatt! I will be not so patiently waiting for the next book and rereading these on repeat!!! Fabulous job as always Caisey!!! 💚💚💚

I was a bit nervous to read Resisting Isaac because Tempting Wyatt has been one of my top reads for 2025, but Isaac got his hooks in me and I couldn’t look away!
In this visit to Triple Creek Ranch, we meet Isaac and Elena Ortega - an actress who is playing Ivy in the streaming series based on the ranch. Elena is a strong, determined woman who knows what she wants and is focused on her career. But a hot one night stand changes the trajectory of their futures - and the show!
I loved seeing Isaac in his element with the cowboy training camp - that runaway mustang scene had me fanning myself. I also enjoyed the extra side characters - Eli wasn’t what I was expecting and I want more of him.
Elena’s ex causes some problem and I said a few choice words at him - may have thrown my kindle too!
