Amy Conine is a Texas-based writer of Southern Gothic fiction infused with magical realism, Cajun folklore, and themes of generational legacy. Her work explores the intersection of land, memory, and inherited power, often set against the atmospheric backdrop of the Louisiana bayou.
Before turning to fiction, Amy built a career as a civil litigation and probate paralegal, where she developed a sharp eye for human conflict, emotional nuance, and the quiet tensions that shape people’s lives—elements that now inform her storytelling. She is also a trained mediator in domestic relations.
A mother of four and grandmother, Amy draws deeply from her Southern roots, personal experiences, and long-standing spiritual practices to create stories that are both grounded and otherworldly. She is currently seeking representation for *Water, Earth, Fire and Air*, the first novel in her *Chasing Amy* series.
