I am an independent author living in Ithaca New York. My first novel, Specimen Tank, was published in 1994 by Manic D. Press, under the name Buzz Callaway. I am also a poet and food writer and publish recipes and essays on my website. I am married, and have 5 children from two marriages. I grew up in the New York suburbs and lived for many years in Manhattan. I attended Oberlin College for a year. My works do not fit easily into categories. I am not an academic writer. I work full time and write in the evenings.
