This was wonderful! A page turner for sure, packed with mystery and even a sprinkling of romance mixed in!

Anna's sister Constance went missing years ago, and now someone has reached out with possible answers to her disappearance. But returning home and to the scene of the crime means putting herself, and this time her daughter, at risk. Her return, it seems, was only met with ill intent. But with Jaxson, her former neighbor and her daughter's father, around, she isn’t alone. As they unpack their past and the truth about Jaxson’s connection to her daughter, they also have to keep them safe and pray for resolution over Constance’s disappearance. And all in the midst of suspense and mystery, past feelings seem to come back to the surface. But another obstacle remains: he’s an Englisher and she’s Amish.

This was a page turner for sure, and I definitely didn’t guess how it was all connected. The suspense and mystery took center stage with this one, and the romance was more of a small trickle in and out of the story. But even so, I enjoyed this! I look forward to seeing what’s next from Mary. I enjoyed seeing some past characters in this story. This story can be enjoyed as a stand alone.

I gave this a 4.5 rounded to a 5 star read.

I received a complimentary copy. This review reflects my honest opinion.

I knew as soon as I started reading Unsolved Amish Abduction by Mary Alford that I would be on the edge of my seat the whole time. I also knew – based on her other books set in Rachel’s Crossing, Kentucky – that some stunning twists awaited me in this story, and I was right on both counts. The combination of Amish and Englisch characters (including some who were formerly Amish), whether victims or law enforcement, provides a variety of personalities to engage with as well as a range of possibilities for future stories set here. (Consider this my request for the author to keep writing Rachel’s Crossing books for a very long time!)

As a teenager, Anna Hartzler escaped a deranged kidnapper … but her sister did not. As an adult, Anna Hartzler escaped the explosion that claimed the lives of her parents and her husband. The trauma and survivor’s guilt has certainly marked her, but she also has a quiet determination to not let these losses overtake her or her daughter. I admired Anna so much in this story; in fact, she reminded me a lot of one of my fave romantic suspense heroines – Sara Walsh from Dee Henderson’s Danger in the Shadows – who has a similar kidnapping experience in her past. Like Sara, Anna shows great courage in being willing to confront her kidnapper as he draws her back to Rachel’s Crossing by taunting her with information about what happened to her sister. Enter police officer Jaxson Thomas, Anna’s first love and the unknowing father of her daughter Grace. I loved learning about his past redemption story and watching him go into protective mode while still respecting Anna’s own instincts and her need to be involved in her own security & Grace’s.

And oh my goodness… the very persistent villain in the wolf mask had me looking over my own shoulder the whole time. Showing up when they think they’re safe. Tormenting them with notes and attacks and raising the stakes higher by the minute. Until it becomes very personal for both Anna and James, a dramatic turn of events that stole my breath and kept my pulse racing. I braced myself for the worst, hoped for the best, and thought I had it all figured out. I should have known better on that last point though because Mary Alford was just getting started with the stunning twists, and I could not have put this down if my life had depended on it. (And…really… Anna’s kinda did.)

Bottom Line: Between the relentless high-stakes tension, the chilling villainy, and the bombshells that kept my heart pounding, I was completely hooked on Unsolved Amish Abduction by Mary Alford. Which is one ‘bombshell’ that really isn’t surprising at all because I always love this author’s books and her talent at weaving the unexpected into her stories. In Unsolved Amish Abduction, the danger constantly feels very real – and very close – and Alford builds the tension so effectively that I found myself constantly bracing for what might happen next. And then still sent reeling when ‘what might happen next’ finally did. Anna and Jaxson are wonderful characters who are easy to root for, and watching them navigate their shared past along with the present danger adds depth to the narrative and hope for a more peaceful future. A great next read for fans of Lynette Eason, Jessica R. Patch, and Nancy Mehl!

Unsolved Amish Abduction is a fast paced, hard-to-put-down romantic suspense read that blends danger, mystery, and a captivating cold case with layered, compelling characters, each burdened by their own past hurts. Mary Alford is at the top of her game with this one, weaving danger and love into a story that grabbed me from the beginning and didn't let go until long after the last page was turned. The plot twists land perfectly, the suspense never lets up, and the ending is as shocking as it is satisfying. The possibility of a second-chance romance adds warmth and emotional depth. If you love unpredictable stories that keep you guessing and danger around every corner, I highly recommend this one that definitely delivers!

This is the third book but the first of her love inspired books I have read. This novel has all the elements of a great mystery. It is a cold case involving the main female character as well as her sister. I found myself drawn into this book not only because of the mystery and suspense but also because of the characters themselves. I thought they were captivating. This novel had a lot of twists and turns. I had a hard time putting it down. If you’re looking for a great suspense, then you will really enjoy this book.

My Thoughts

Unsolved Amish abduction is written by Mary Alford. This author is one of my most favorite Amish suspense authors ever. One thing you will definitely count on is you will want to stay up and read the story without putting it down.

In this story, Anna, who previously left the Amish is lured back when her missing sister’s bracelet is sent to her. She had escaped this kidnapper when she was a teenager. Unfortunately this is a trap to try to kidnap her. She is saved by Jaxson who was her former neighbor and is now a police officer.

Anna has had a rough life. She has had so much trauma and survivors guilt from everything that has happened to her, including the explosion that claimed the lives of her parents and her husband. This kidnapper will not give up. Jaxson and Anna really have to work together to try and stay several steps ahead.

This book is set in Rachael‘s Crossing, Kentucky. The author always does such a wonderful job and bringing the Amish lifestyle to life. The book is well written full of action and suspense.

Thank you to the author, publisher, and Just Read Publicity Tours for allowing me to read a copy of this book. All thoughts are my own.

✨ mid-book review // pg. 76 ✨

i’m not even halfway into unsolved amish abduction, but it’s got some interesting potential 👀

anna hartzler’s been lured back to her hometown (after losing her parents and husband in a tragic accident?) by anonymous letters and a hope of learning more about her sister’s abduction—which seems like quite a convenient trap by the unidentified kidnapper…

of course, returning to rachel’s crossing brings jaxson thomas back into her life, and they have a decade’s worth of life to catch up on amidst the lurking danger 👀

at this point, i’m quite intrigued to see where the story goes next. i have a lot of questions that i’m curious to see answered, and the threat of danger seems to have the potential to come from anywhere, which is creating a bit of a claustrophobic atmosphere. it’s all enjoyable so far…

✨ final thoughts ✨

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (“liked it.”)

it's got some good twists in the second half, and i enjoyed the action and drama. some of the dialogue in the reveals did get a little over-the-top cheesy, but it's all still interesting to see play out. and amidst all that, the connection between anna and jaxson is sweet to see, especially when it provides balance for the otherwise dark family moments.

overall, it's a quick, exciting romantic-suspense + amish read that fans of the genre are sure to enjoy.

✨ considerations:
—language: none
—spice: kisses only
—faith: amish community
—content: abduction, stalking, loss of spouse/parent, mentions of fire

Mary Alford knows exactly how to write the perfect suspense story. Her books are always exciting, hard to put down page turners.
Anna and her sister were kidnapped years ago, she got away but her sister did not. When a anonymous letter containing her missing sister’s bracelet arrives she rushes back to her hometown only to find herself in a trap set by the kidnapper. She is rescued by Jaxson, her former neighbor and now police officer. Now Jaxson has to help Anna and her daughter from becoming victims.

I could not put the book down as there were lots of twists and turns. I enjoyed that this story revolves around the Amish. I loved that this was a very emotional story between Anna and Jaxson. Mary Alford turns Readers lives’ upside down once more with Unsolved Amish Abduction! Unsolved Amish Abduction takes Readers to the community of Rachel’s Crossing, Kentucky where Anna Hartzler has returned home after moving to Canada 10 years earlier to avoid scandal and to seek healing from an abduction. The day Anna and her older sister Constance were abducted help set in motion decisions that impacted Anna’s Family’s future. Anna has grappled with that fateful day ever since she was able to escape and Constance did not, causing Constance to be kidnapped and become a missing person. After receiving suspicious letters saying that they know where Constance is and that they will return her if she comes home, Anna has no choice but to return to Rachel’s Crossing with her daughter Grace. Once home, Anna receives another letter that leads her to a trap that mimics the original kidnapping. Seeing something suspicious, Police Officer Jaxson “Jax” Thomas stops to check it out. Jax is shocked to come upon a scene eerie to the one described to him by his friend and love of his life, Anna. After escaping her captor 10 years earlier, Anna leaned on Englisher friend Jax, who deals with daily abuse from his father. As Anna and Jax got closer back then, the feelings they held back came to the surface. When Anna realizes she is pregnant with Jax’s child, Jax had just escaped his father and left Rachel’s Crossing. When Anna tells her parents that she’s pregnant, they escape to Canada where Anna’s mother is from. 10 years later Anna is shocked, but thankful when Jax shows up to the trap she stumbled into. Once rescued, Anna’s hopeful that Constance will finally be found. As Jax seeks to keep Anna and Grace safe, secrets are revealed that show a more sinister web of jealousy and deceit than anyone ever imagined.

I loved returning to Rachel’s Crossing, Kentucky in Mary Alford’s Unsolved Amish Abduction! Unsolved Amish Abduction is packed with shock and suspense from page one that kept me on the edge of my seat, not putting it down in the process! I thought the premise of the plot was fascinating! I liked that Ms. Alford touched on the Amish Community in Canada–I’ve read about the Amish in Canada, but I haven’t come across it in Amish Fiction yet. (I wouldn’t mind if Ms. Alford created a Amish story set in Canada in the future!) I enjoyed meeting Anna and Jax. I appreciated the backstory on Jax and Anna that Ms. Alford put in the plot. I understood why Anna made the decisions she did, but I really wished she had involved law enforcement sooner when she started receiving the letters. (Though I respect and get why Ms. Alford wrote it that way.) I think I liked Jax’s character the best because of the growth he went through from the time he left Rachel’s Crossing and how he let Jesus transform his life when he returned. The way Jax showed Grace and Sacrifice to others stuck with me as well. I felt for Anna more and more as events transpired, holding out Hope that Constance would be found too but wondering as well, what was really going on. When that happened, I saw growth in Anna. At the same time, it gave Unsolved Amish Abduction a psychological feel, which I loved! I’m always in awe as to how much gritty suspense Ms. Alford packs in every book she writes and Ms. Alford delivers with each layer in Unsolved Amish Abduction! I loved returning to Rachel’s Crossing and seeing what some of its neighbors have been up to since my last visit! If you are looking for a gritty escape that shows unending Hope and Grace regardless of circumstances, then I highly recommend Unsolved Amish Abduction by Mary Alford! I’m looking forward to seeing what Mary Alford creates next!

UNSOLVED AMISH ABDUCTION by Mary Alford is the magnificently written, adrenaline pumping, suspenseful story of Anna Hartzler and K-9 police officer Jaxson “Jax” Thomas with Tracker, a 5-year-old German Shepherd, as a cold case repeats itself again in the present. They must dodge present dangers while trying to put pieces of an old puzzle together while rifling their emotions – forgiveness, acceptance and daring to dream of a possible future.

Anna is happily Amish. In her youth, she had a great friendship with an Englicsh boy. Both had experienced hardships. Hers was her sister being kidnapped. His was the situation with his father. They found comfort and love in that friendship. It all ended when Jax disappeared and Anna, at 18, found herself with child - Grace. To save the family embarrassment, they moved to Canada where she married. After the horrific accident that claimed her parents and her husband, Anna and Grace moved back stateside. When letters alluding to her sister, who she always thought was alive, started showing up, she knew she had to find answers.

Jax, at 18, had years of mistreatment at the hands of his alcoholic father. If he didn’t leave, he feared his father would end up killing him. He left without a word. His aunt tracked him down explaining the change in his father and that he was dying. Returning to Rachel’s Crossing had him making peace with his father before his passing. Then he took up Chief Nissley on her offer of a K-9 position. Never in his wildest nightmare had he expect to reconnect with Anna in a horrific scene mimicking the past kidnapping. Even if she can’t forgive him, he will do everything to keep her safe and find out who is behind the past and present events.

Is Anna’s sister still alive? Where is she? How will Anna tell Jax he is Grace’s father? Can they work through past hurts? Is it possible for Jax to have the life he’s always dreamed of? How is the kidnapper always finding out where they are in what seems like seconds of their arriving there? Can they catch the kidnapper, who always wore black and a wolf facemask, or will the kidnapper be able to carry out what they weren’t able to do in the past?

UNSOLVED AMISH ABDUCTION is perfectly written to hold one’s attention from the first page to the last demanding it to be read in one sitting. It’s an exemplary suspense story full of mystery and intrigue that will challenge you to figure out who the “wolf” person is. Mary Alford gives us a story of second chances, mystery, suspense, danger, never giving up, and romance wrapping it all in a wonderful thread of faith. UNSOLVED AMISH ABDUCTION is absolutely a FIVE STAR book that I recommend to everyone!

I received an ARC of this book with no requirement or expectations of a review. All opinions are completely my own.

I know I am always in for a treat when I read a book by this author, especially when it takes place in Rachel's Crossing.

Anna was kidnapped as a teenager. She escaped, but sadly her sister was not able to escape. This has haunted Anna for years. Her life has been littered with tragedy, seemingly one bad thing after another. The one bright spot is her daughter, Grace. She has returned home to confront her kidnapper as he has been taunting her with notes. He tries to kidnap her again, but she is saved by police officer Jaxson Thomas. Jaxson was a friend, and is also the father of Grace. He has no clue that he has a daughter. This added another layer of intrigue to the story.

The stakes are high as there does not seem to be any place that Anna, her daughter and grandparents are safe, even with police protection. There was danger around every corner. It seemed the creepy guy in the wolf mask was always three steps ahead of them. The wolf mask was a particularly chilling part of the story, which made the kidnapper appear even more evil and scary.

I was completely immersed in this story as soon as the attempted kidnapping took place. The action begins immediately and never slows down.

I really admired Anna. She was so brave and strong, much stronger than most would be considering her circumstances. Loss has been a big part of her life, but she has pulled through it. She is also fearless even while being chased by an evil kidnapper.

This was a superb mystery with a few unexpected twists thrown in, as well as a story of redemption and second chances. Both Anna and Jaxson have been tested by fire, which is what makes them perfect for one another.

This faith inspired mystery was an easy read with likable characters and an exciting plot.

Thank you to the author and JustRead Publications for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Anna's sister has been missing for decades, since she has married and had a child, as well as lost a few loved ones. But she still carries the grief of losing her sister most. When a letter containing her sister's bracelet is left for her, a glimmer of hope sparks. No one else knew about this except the person who took her and Anna. She decides to meet the kidnapper as asked, and knows she is risking her life. Jaxson notices a strange light in an abandoned property and the cop instinct in him says to check it out. He can hardly believe what's happening and who he finds! This was the same place Grace was taken and now someone tried to take Anna, this can't be a coincidence. As they get to the bottom of what has all transpired with Anna and the kidnapper reaching out with letters, Jaxson knows solving this unsolved case is now his number one goal. He lost Anna once and he knows he cannot lose her again. He often wondered what happened to her and dreams of what if's. Promising to protect her and find her sister, he knows it's a tall order but it's what he must do. But the kidnapper always seems to be one step ahead of everyone and is bound to harm Anna no matter how many others are hurt as well. The more he uncovers, the more Jaxson is bound to figure out who is behind it all. Not only is Anna at risk but also the child he never knew. Will the kidnapper continue to outmaneuver them or will Jaxson be able to figure out what started this all to begin with? I enjoyed this story, it had quite a few twists and was a very fast read with lots of action. Thank you to the author for allowing me to be a part of the launch team and for the complementary novel. This review is of my own opinion and accord.

Loved Jax and Anna's story!! Jax and Anna were best friends growing up, though she was Amish and he wasn't. It didn't matter, they were best friends, and he spent a lot of time at her home. His father was abusive, and he and Jax fought often. Then, a few nights changed everything. One night, Anna and her sister were kidnapped and held for twenty-four hours. Anna got away, her sister didn't, and they couldn't find her sister. Another night, she and Jax needed each other, and went too far. The third night that made a huge difference was the night when Jax knew he had to leave his father's house. He went back later to see Anna, but she and her parents were gone, and her grandparents wouldn't tell him where she'd gone. Now, ten years later, Anna is back in Rachel's Crossing because of letters she received from the kidnapper. She had no idea that Jax was back, and was now working as a K-9 officer. With Anna's life in danger, Jax is trying to protect her. Before Anna's big secret is out, Jax knows he wants another chance with her. When the secret is revealed, he wants that chance more than ever. With the kidnapper getting more desperate, and when Grace, the daughter Jax has just found about it is taken, will the second chance Jax wants with Anna be ripped from his hands?? I figured out one of the players before the characters did, though it was still a surprise of who else was involved. Love the way everything worked out!!

Once again the diva of suspense has taken it up a notch. This story from page one was a thriller of a plot to unfold.

Anna, an Amish young mom. And Jaxson an Englisher neighbor of hers, who has become a police officer come together in this action packed mystery.

Anna, comes back to her hometown in hopes to finally find answers about her sister's disappearance. When she finds herself in a trap for her life. That's when Jaxson comes in with his K-9 Tracker. Only for him to find out he needs to keep 2 people he loves safe.

As each page turns so does the mystery and suspense behind this story. There is spark of romance, forgiveness, a surprise for Jaxson, mystery, suspense and adrenaline to keep you reading until the end in one sitting.

But the most intriguing surprise is the end of the story. The who done it result. With all the ups and downs you can never guess who is really behind all these set ups. You start doubting everyone around. Although I was sure it was someone which it was 1 of 3. The ending truly got me.

For all the suspense thriller readers this one is a must. You won't be disappointed.

I received this story from the author publisher. All stated here are my own. I was not required a positive comment.

Unsolved Amish Abduction by Mary Alford is the second book I’ve read by this author, and once again I was completely hooked on the suspense from beginning to end. Mary Alford has a way of pulling you straight into the tension of the story and keeping you turning pages to find out what happens next.

In this story, Anna Hartzler is drawn back to her Amish hometown after a bracelet surfaces, reminding her of the kidnapper she escaped years ago. When she becomes the target of another abduction attempt, she is rescued by Jaxson Thomas, her former neighbor who is now a police officer. With danger closing in, Anna must rely on Jaxson to keep her and her young daughter safe while also hiding the truth that he is the child’s father.

What really made this story stand out for me was the background of the characters. Their pasts add depth and intrigue to the plot, making the suspense feel even more intense. I also enjoyed watching the relationships develop throughout the story, especially as trust and emotions grow while the danger continues to build.

I’m so glad I decided to take a chance on Mary Alford as an author. After reading my second book by her, I can honestly say I’m loving her stories and the gripping suspense she brings to every page.

I was so excited to return to Rachel’s Crossing, Kentucky, and delve into another superb suspense novel by one of my favourite authors.

Mary Alford highlights difficult choices, restoration, and second chances while spotlighting the Amish community.

The plot revolves around a heart-wrenching tragedy and a difficult choice that has the potential to upend both Anna Hartler and K-9 Officer Jaxon Thomas. The stakes are higher this time for both and I loved seeing God’s restoration at work as these two returned to the faith that had previously anchored them.

I was reminded of the damage that can continue when evil slithers “through cracks that no one thought to patch.” Patch patrol is necessary!

Alford’s characters face evil and are constantly on the run, but once they make a pivotal decision, healing and growth begins and they reflect God’s truth as they take hold of the second chance they’ve been given. It’s not easy, and sacrifice will be involved, but it’s necessary to move forward. I was rooting for them both and flipping pages, hoping that they'd escape the relentless evil.

I was gifted this copy and was under no obligation to provide a review.

Unsolved Amish Abduction by Mary Alford is a page-turning, romantic suspense that you’ll want to read in one sitting! The heart pounding nonstop action keeps the reader engaged throughout.

Ten years have passed since Anna and her sister Constance were abducted. Anna escaped. Constance did not. Everyone has assumed that Constance is dead, but Anna receives a letter that suggests otherwise. When she returns to her hometown, she walks into a trap…one she’s not meant to escape. When she does escape, the kidnapper is relentless in seeking to get to her. I loved Anna’s resilience and her determination to find the truth about her sister. Anna has gone through a lot in the years she’s been away from home. Things that have shaken her faith.

One of my favorite things about these Love Inspired Suspense books is that they have an element of faith throughout, and this one does as well. Though Jax had grown up in an abusive home, he made peace with his father, who had given his life to Christ, before his death.

I really loved this thrilling book. The characters are well-developed and the action is nonstop! I highly recommend it!

Seems like all my reviews are 5 stars but that is likely because all the books I am reading are amazing and this one was no different. Thank you to the author for my ARC of this book and yes it is a 5 star rating from me. The way this story evolved with all the twists and turns was pretty incredible to read. I truly loved the main characters, all of them and of course Tracker was the star. Having said that this was a really cleverly written book. The narrative was excellent and was to the point. The conversations were beautifully put together and the reader could feel the emotion through the words. I love Amish Fiction and this was a very different read to me. There was as much romance as in some Amish romance books but with a huge story that kept the reader guessing and made this a book that was tough to put down. This is my first book from this author and I am so impressed that I know I will have to read more of her books. If you love Amish fiction whether it is romance or mystery or both then don't skip by this one that has it all.

I received this book as an ARC with no expectations of a positive review. This book had me from the first sentence. Anna is an Amish women who had been through so much in her young life. She was kidnapped along with her sister at a young age. Her sister had been taken by the captor, but Anna was able to get away from the basement where they were being held. Her sister was never found. Anna tried to move on with her life always hoping to find her sister.

Jax had been a close friend growing up. He had his own struggles with an abusive father. He was always one to look out for Anna. Join Anna and Jax as she returns to Rachel's Crossing after receiving a letter from her kidnapper telling her if she wanted answers she was to return.

This book will keep you on the edge of your seat as everywhere Anna and Jax turn, trouble and ambush is right there. It is a must read for all romantic suspense fans.

This book was very good. I love Mary Alford’s Amish books. This book had great characters and a plot twist that I did not see coming. Through trying to figure out the cold case and dealing with new mysteries there was puzzle after puzzle that kept them on their toes and guessing. The Lord was woven throughout the whole story but it also showed that when you allow evil to set in your heart the darkness can just take over. Revenge, bitterness, and lies can ruin lives and that is what happened. But God protected and the truth was revealed. Great book that is definitely worth the read. Mary Alford never disappoints. Her books are always great books to read.

Ten years after being abducted by a man wearing a wolf mask and her sister going missing, Anna starts getting mail luring her back to her hometown. Anna left shortly after escaping the clutches of the masked man and believed her sister would never be found. Then in one of the letters, a braclet owned by her sister, is what makes her come home. What will she find when she goes looking for her sister? How will Anna feel when she runs into her former neighbor, Jaxon, who is on the police force with his K-9 partner, Tracker? I was in shock as I finished reading this wonderfully written story and I think you will be also. I definitely didn't have a clue as to who was behind everything and why. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author, but was not required to leave a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are what I thought of the book.

Intriguing Plot with Intricate Threads and Relatable Characters

Once again, author Mary Alford kept me on the edge of my seat and guessing all the way until the end of the book. This book is a twisted mystery with well-crafted clues and false trails as well as characters that had great emotional depth and were fascinating to get to know. About a decade before the start of the story, Anna and her sister Constance were kidnapped. Anna was able to escape but now she is being enticed to return to the scene of the kidnapping to find out what happened to Constance. There is a lot more to this complex story involving a relationship between Anna and Jax, now a police investigator and determined to keep Anna safe in spite of all of the threats that surround her and her young daughter Grace. In fact, there is a whole backstory about Anna and her family moving to Canada and what happened to her family there. I don’t want to add any spoilers, but I will say that the author does a tremendous job of keeping the plot intriguing while also escalating the tension for the characters. The plot was cleverly crafted and a real page-turner that was difficult to put down. The characters were relatable and believable, particularly the unique way that they interacted and the authentic flow of the dialogue between them. The intricate plot threads are all skillfully woven together in a very satisfying conclusion following some head-spinning twists. Kudos to the author for providing a captivating and suspense-filled book that compelled me to read long into the night.
I voluntarily received a complimentary copy of this book and also purchased my own copy. I was not required to write a positive review and all opinions expressed are my own.

What a wonderful suspense book full of twists and turns. This one takes you on an adventure into Amish country. It is full of action on every page and will keep you guessing.

Anna is back in her hometown and her past is coming back to haunt her. With the help of Jax who she knows from her past and his K-9, Tracker, she is on a mission to track down a killer who just might have her missing sister.

I loved Tracker! This lovable protector dog was a great addition to the story and I enjoyed him being part of the thrill ride through Amish country.

This author did a great job with the plot and the focus of the story was more on the suspense with just a touch of second chance romance. If you love these kinds of stories that never let up then this is a must read for you! This is another great read by this talented author.

Wow! This one kept me reading without stopping until I reached the very end. Sisters that were abducted 10 years earlier, one got away and the other never found. Now receiving several letters, including Constance’s bracelet, brought Anna back to the scene of the crime. Except this time she comes with a young daughter and the help of her former boyfriend, Jax, now a K-9 officer in the local police force.

The endless danger leaves Anna and those she loves without a safe haven. How does the perpetrator always seem to find them, and why does he want them anyway? What has she done to be the unfortunate recipient of what appears to be revenge for her survival those years ago? Will they manage to figure this one out before someone dies?

An early copy of this Love Inspired Suspense was received through BookFunnel. These thoughts are my own and were in no way solicited.

This book was mind bendingly good! Nothing is off the table this time, and Mary Alford has gone for broke!

Anna is back in the town she grew up in, the town where she and her sister were kidnapped. Anna escaped, but her sister has never been found.

She’s lured there by a mysterious letter and a piece of evidence from the kidnapper. One no one else knew about, so it has to be legit. Right?

But when Anna finds herself in trouble, an old friend comes to the rescue. Jaxson is police with the K-9 unit, and Tracker makes the best partner.

Will they finally find out what happened to Anna’s sister? Who kidnapped the girls? And what other secrets are there in Rachel’s Crossing?

Just have to read it to find it out! WARNING: You won’t see anything coming, and the twist is jaw dropping!

I received an advance copy from the publisher. I’m under no obligation and my review has not been solicited. Highly recommend!

I could say one word and it would sum up the entire book ….. Wow! Seriously though, I got pulled into this book from the book blurb. It’s way too good for me to give spoilers. Trust me, you will want to get the full experience of this book on your own. There is so much pain, both present and in the past. Memories of both happy times, as well as traumatic ones, collide in this book. It’s definitely a Christian thriller. The sitting on the edge of your seat suspense and mystery. It’s definitely intense! There are times you can actually feel the terror coming from the characters. The characters were well detailed and easy to imagine. I especially enjoy books that I can’t figure out who is responsible for everything, and I did not with this book. It is truly a great read, you won’t be disappointed!
