What a great, eye-opening book sir!! I read it in a few hours; once I got into it, I could not stop!! I study the Bible every day and have for a few years, but still have questions like most people do I'm sure that have read the Bible.
L.A. really wrote a great book that helped me, had me crying so much today but it really and truly helped me more than I can articulate.

One of the best Christian books I’ve read in a long time. So good I didn’t want it to end. Hope he does a sequel soon.

In terms of spiritual content, this is a great story. It brought to light concepts in the Bible that are difficult to understand in ways that we can easily comprehend. I learned about concepts I have never learned about before like the Nephilim; I have never read L.A. Marzulli's work before. He includes scriptures into the story and he gives you the exact verses so you can study them yourself. He also includes an appendix at the back of the book where he discusses the various themes and his personal views on them, but invites you to do your own research and form your own opinions. The biggest theme is about forgiveness, and that was where this story really challenged me personally. If you are struggling with forgiveness, the way this book lays it out really helps put it all in perspective.

With all the great spiritual content, I did rate this book a 3. This is because the writing does get repetitive in ways that make it seem like novice writing, along with some of the dialogue tags. There are some places where he added content that doesn't fit, like the chapter on New Jerusalem, and the story of the Flaming Sword. I am sure he was trying to go somewhere with them but they fell flat in terms of adding to the development of the plot. Additionally, there are places he references and makes you think there will be more later in the story like a difficult relationship with Bob's mother, but he never revisits it to bring it full circle; it just is forgotten about. He ends on a cliffhanger, so Bob's story will continue, but I'm not sure I will pick it up because of the inconsistencies of his writing style.

A great read! Enlightening, fun, and it really caused me to think about the necessity of forgiving!

It was extremely "readable" and I really did not want to put it down when I knew it was time to
go to sleep!
I loved how Mr. O patiently walked Bob through each scenario and how much of an impact it made on Bob (& others!) When he forgave and blessed what & who had caused him hurt or trauma!
I laughed out loud at a few of the interactions and loved the humor as well as the potential for true healing!
An imaginative and inspiring book with the perfect balance of humor and loving admonition!

It was well written, the middle felt repetitive. Same situation, different reasons. I understand the reasoning with everything. I would have loved more of something about after and what relationships changed, like with his kids, if anything.
