To be honest, I wasn’t expecting to be changed much (if at all) by reading this book. I’ve read a TON of personal finance books from a Christian perspective and wasn’t expecting to encounter much in here that I hadn’t heard before.
Those low expectations made it all the more enjoyable when I found myself encountering not just one, but multiple insights that I’d never read anywhere else!
Kap has written a truly excellent book that will help break chains off of so many people in their views of “how God views money” and I believe this a book that absolutely everyone should take the time to read!

Favorite Quote: “As soon as things got tough in the wilderness, what did they do? They begged to go back to Pharaoh, back to slavery, back to the very place they had cried to be delivered from. Why would they choose this? Because Pharaoh was predictable…even though they were oppressed, at least they didn’t have to walk by faith.”
