When Linda Hunter said for better or worse twenty years ago, she’d meant it. Unfortunately, her husband didn’t share the sentiment. After she learns of his wandering eye, and libido, he levels her with his reason for straying over the years.
Her weight gain.
Armed with a willpower made of steel, Linda decides to hire a personal trainer so she can try to reclaim herself, if not her husband.
After settling in a new position in Maryland, personal trainer Jack McAllister goes through his days cursing his strange twist of fate. Accustomed to being just another attractive face at his last gym, he isn’t prepared for the deluge of propositions he’s receiving from his female clientele.
Thrown together due to circumstance, Jack and Linda aren’t quite sure what to do with one another. She expected her trainer to be a woman; he expected his new client to be the latest vapid barracuda.
Neither of them got what they expected, but both of them will learn that when it comes to physical attraction, there is more than meets the eye.
Linda Tanner’s life has reached a new low. Her husband left her for a younger woman and blamed her weight for his infidelity. In the beginning, she’s devastated but the more she thinks about it – the more she’s determined to turn things around.
Upon entering the Self-sational Fitness Club, she is overwhelmed by all of the super skinny women in spandex. She’s absolutely sure that life is just playing a cruel joke when she’s introduced to her new personal trainer – Jack McAllister.
Jack is tired of some of his clients trying to get a good look up his shorts. But there is something different about the self-conscious woman standing in front of him. She’s unassumingly beautiful and has a sense of humor that makes him look forward to her training sessions with him. So when he suggests that she reward herself with something special when she reaches her goal, he secretly hopes that it’s a night with him. But Linda doesn’t see herself as the gorgeous woman that she really is and when the insecurities creep in, will he ever be able to prove to her that it’s more than just physical?
Let’s Get Physical is a real woman’s dream in print! It’s not the cliché story that you might think it is at first glance. Elle Fiore deals with modern stereotypes in a way that makes the journey so real and so sincere that I truly reveled in every word.
Honestly, I can’t imagine any red-blooded female not falling head over heals for Jack McAllister or one that wouldn’t strive to have the overall strength of Linda. So get ready for the ultimate workout of your heart and soul...
Let’s Get Physical is an all-consuming read that totally captures your senses and puts them into overdrive‚ in the best possible way.
I simply loved. The author did a fabulous job in writing this book in such way that made this story feel real and special.
I enjoyed watching Linda grew as the story progressed and reading what was going on inside her mind and I immensely enjoyed reading Jack´s side of the story.
I think that a lot of ladies out there can relate with Linda in so many different ways. All of us are insecure about the way we look‚ how much me weight… and countless other things that are simply not important and insignificant. But at the end we all need to learn to love ourselves just the way we are because that´s what makes us beautiful. Your body changes daily as you get older and you need to embrace it with confidence and don´t let what other ones say to you influence you. Your weight changes during the life. It´s normal. There comes a period of time when you gain some extra pounds and then another one where you lose them. It´s life. Learn to feel good in your own skin. Chin up ladies and embrace your beauty.
It was beautifully written with well-rounded characters and with so many emotions that will make you truly experience this story the best you can. You just feel the words that are written and at the end you are given a sense of completeness.

I cried so much when I read this book. Linda, her self esteem was so low and for her to honestly think that she wasn’t good enough for someone who generally cared for her was heart breaking.
I myself suffer from Low Self Esteem and some of Linda’s fears, are my fears. The book was so good, I had previously read this as a Fan-fiction years ago and enjoyed it so much, I must of read it about three times. I then found out that the author had published it on Amazon and I had to have it.
It is one of my Ebooks that I keep going back to and it does generally give you feels when you read this. Such a good book.
Cute, fun read. It was refreshing to read a book where the heroine wasn't perfect in every way and the hero to still fall for her. However, I didn't like in the end when Jack made fun of Graham's wife on her weight. It was out of character for him especially with all the obstacles he witnessed Linda go through with her insecurities. It made his character seem very shallow and it didn't make sense with how his character was written through their whole journey.

This romance novel was formerly a Twilight fanfiction by the same name. I read the fanfiction many years ago and liked it a lot, but Fiore pulled it from the web after she published the story. I enjoyed her writing enough to pay for a copy to read her story again. It’s not a five-star book, but I did like the story and romance.
